Stay vigilant on home care during extreme seasonal weather. Here is a handy tip for you if you are in the northern hemisphere winter right now. There are several factors that impact how fast your pipes will freeze in winter months. These include whether they are insulated correctly and the position of the pipes in the home. Even if the temperatures fall below minus 6 degrees Celsius (20 degrees Fahrenheit), that doesn’t necessarily mean your pipes will freeze since it typically takes extended periods of cold temperature for this to happen. The main sign to determine if your pipes are frozen is having no running water. Check the exterior of your pipes to see if they look frosty since this can also indicate a frozen pipe and give a precise location. If you turn on your faucet and only a trickle of water comes out, this could mean a part of the pipe is frozen. If you hear any weird sounds such as whooshing or banging coming from your water pipes, or if your toilet bowl doesn’t refill after flushing, or your appliances aren’t working properly, then this means there is likely ice in the pipe.

“We sure do! But just a heads up - we usually call those ‘cliffs.’”

?!

And now we have a heartline in Aulacese (Vietnamese), with multiple-language subtitles, from Tường Vy in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam
