Shining World Leadership Award for Protection Recipient: Costa Rican Ministry of Environment and Energy – Safeguarding People of the Animal Kingdom

Touched by Costa Rica’s compassionate commitment to protecting the voiceless animal-persons, Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) presented the Shining World Leadership Award for Protection to the Costa Rican Ministry of Environment and Energy “with high salute and heartfelt thanks for safeguarding the deserving people of the animal kingdom by closing all state zoos. May you and your fellow citizens of Costa Rica be forever blessed with happiness and wellness, in GOD’s Love and Mercy.” Additionally, Master offered a financial contribution of US$50,000 to the Rescate Wildlife Rescue Center (formerly known as Rescate Animal Zooave), a facility which took in animal-folk from these zoos and is giving them the life they deserve, away from the public.
