Medical organization in South Korea to host seminar on dietary guidelines of world religions.

Vege Doctor, a group of medical professionals that promotes the vegan lifestyle, is hosting a unique gathering titled “Seminar on Dietary Guidelines of Religions in the World.” Scheduled for Saturday, June 28, 2025, at the Daegu Loving Hut restaurant, the free event will explore teachings about food in Buddhism, Christianity, Islam, and Korean indigenous religions Won Buddhism, and Cheondoism. The seminar will also feature knowledgeable speakers on religious dietary practices and address concerns about modern ways of eating and their impact on health, the environment, animal-people, and spiritual well-being. Vege Doctor seeks to help participants rediscover ancient teachings on food while enjoying complementary vegan meals.
