Veterinarians say carrots can be a healthy, low-calorie treat for dog-individuals when served in moderation as part of a balanced diet, with their crunchy texture helping scrape away soft plaque while providing nutrients such as vitamins A, C, K, and B6, fiber, potassium, and iron. Experts advise cutting carrots into small pieces, serving them plain, never frozen if raw, and cooled if cooked, while avoiding onion, garlic, butter, or seasoning and checking with a veterinarian before changing a dog-person’s diet, especially for those with diabetes, obesity, or prescription diets (Express)

Inspiring quote of the day: “Believe you can and you’re halfway there.” – His Excellency Theodore Roosevelt 26th President of the United States (AZ Quotes)
Previously, in Part 1 of a multipart series of Vania Valtriani’s near-death experience, Vania shared how she nearly died after a hemorrhagic stroke and saw herself outside her body during emergency surgery. There, she saw her deceased father surrounded by beautiful Light, appearing young, peaceful, and full of love. When he opened his arms to her, Vania told him, “I love you, Dad, but I’ll stay here with her” — because she was looking at her own body on the operating table and, in that moment, felt separate from it.
Then Vania returned to her body — an experience Vania describes as horrible, painful, and desperate. I felt, and I was aware that I was back in my body, but I don’t know how I was aware of this, and I was feeling a lot of pain in my brain, in my head, in my body, but especially in my head, because it felt like it was pulsing and almost exploding. And I felt like as if my feet were two ice rocks, and I was feeling very bad.
Something that was making me feel desperate was something that I felt in my throat, like if it was a rock or a piece of wood through my throat, and it was making me feel that I was dying. I couldn’t feel normal. And then, I started praying a lot, because I thought, “I’m dying, and I need help from the Lord, or something.” And I start praying. And I say, “Lord, I’m dying. What is going on? You have to help me.” And I was just praying because I didn’t know what I had to do in that situation. And in that moment, I felt something special on my left side of the bed. I was aware, I don’t know how, that I was in a hospital dying. I was praying, and then I felt a powerful presence. And I tried to look at this, and I was trying to move, but I couldn’t. I was like petrified.
There was a big Light. The first thing that my brain captured was, “I’m feeling power.” I was feeling something powerful close to me. I remember that the first thing that I saw were two amazing eyes. And the eyes captured my attention because they were brown, not too dark, brown eyes, but He has like some fire inside of His eyes. And then, after that, I realized it was a Man, a big, tall Man. For me, it looks like I was dipping down in those eyes. It was something that I never could explain in any language, what I felt in this moment.
And I remember that I thought, “Probably this is an angel that the Lord sent me.” And when He started speaking with me, it made me amazed the things that He spoke with me. But, in the same way as my dad, He never used voice, sound, or His mouth. He spoke in my brain. He told me three things. The first thing He told me made me think, “What is going on? Why is He telling me this? I’m dying, and He’s telling me about my son?” My son was serving a voluntary work in Guatemala as a missionary. And He told me, “We are very happy with your son. He’s doing a great job.” And I said, “Why is He talking to me about Jonathan? I’m dying. Why is He telling me this?” I didn’t understand. But then the second thing made more sense to me. He said, “You have a husband that is a very faithful man, and because of this, he will see some miracle in his life.” And after He said this, He took my left hand, and I felt warmth — His hand in my hand. And then the third thing, He repeated three times the same thing to me. He said, “Everything will be all right.” Three times, “Everything will be all right.”
While he was telling me this three times, I felt something coming from Him to me. Something that I felt — I couldn’t see anything, but it was so physical, warming me, surrounding me like a blanket or something very, very, very good, that today, when I speak about this, I feel emotion because I never forget this. And I would like to feel this again someday in the future. I live for this because I want to feel that. It was like surrounding me. And when He made this, I felt that it was a kind of Love coming from Him to me. And I stopped feeling everything bad that I was feeling. I was warm, no pain, no nothing — my throat, my feet, my head. And when I felt this, something came to my mind. I don’t know if He said something to me or if it was my mind. But I remember that, when I felt surrounded by this powerful thing that came from Him to me, I remember that I thought, “This is not an angel. This that comes from Him to me is His Love for me. This is our Savior Jesus Christ, because of this Love that I’m feeling — that He decided to die for us, to be born on this Earth, and to die for us.” When I realized that was Jesus, I started imploring Him in my mind, “Please, Lord, stay with me. If You go, I’ll die. I want to keep with You feeling this. Please don’t leave me. Don’t leave me.” But this is the last thing that I remember.
In Part 3, Vania opens her eyes back in the hospital, surrounded by her husband, her youngest daughter, a nurse, and her best friend. And my husband, when he saw me open my eyes, he was very, very happy. He started calling the doctors, and everybody, and the nurse was checking me… Join us tomorrow for Part 3 of a multipart series of Vania Valtriani’s near-death experience.
