Winter Relief Aid in Tokyo, Japan

Following the loving example of our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan), our Tokyo Association members conducted their annual winter relief effort on December 14, 2025. Our Tokyo Center team prepared care packages containing winter essentials including disposable body warmers, warm socks, and vegan snacks. They visited the area surrounding the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building in Shinjuku, where homeless individuals were sheltering with cardboard boxes, plastic sheets, and umbrellas. Upon receiving the packages, the recipients bowed deeply in gratitude. Some even remembered our Association members from the previous year and recalled that we are vegan. The relief team then moved to Shinjuku Station to continue the distribution. As the homeless are not permitted to use the station premises until late at night, our Association members timed their visit accordingly. Each package was distributed with heartfelt wishes that God would protect the recipients during the winter season.

We thank our Beloved Master for Her ever-present Love and compassion, which inspires us to care for those in need. Our hearty appreciation also goes to our Japanese Association members for their dedication and care in bringing comfort to the homeless during this cold season. May World Vegan, World Peace be here now so that all beings can live in safety, abundance, and joy, in God’s loving Grace.
