Previously in Parts 1 and 2 of this multipart series on Thayne Martin’s near-death experiences, Thayne recalled leaving his body after his abusers drugged him to the point of an overdose as a child. His late grandfather held him and told him he had to return. Years later, Thayne drowned in his swimming pool and experienced a life review in Heaven. He described entering bubbles containing moments from his life, feeling how his actions affected others, and seeing their ripple effects. In this final part, Thayne shares more of what he remembers from the other side, what he learned there, and how those lessons changed his life afterward.
Among Thayne’s memories of the experience is an image of GOD that he says remains permanently in his mind. When I shut my eyes, I see GOD, and It’s an energy. And It is a Light that is so powerful, there aren’t words that you can describe what that Light looks like. Thayne also recalls being able to perceive extraordinary detail in Heaven. I had no idea that Heaven had so many shades of white. Literally trillions of shades of white. He says all knowledge was present on the other side.
His experience also brought a different understanding of the suffering he had endured. Before his near-death experience, Thayne says he carried anger over the abuse and the struggles that followed. What he experienced in Heaven changed how he understood those painful events. We’re simply being taught. We are being taught. That’s all it is. We’re never being punished. The worst things that happened to me that I always blamed on GOD and had a horrible relationship with, GOD was protecting me the whole time because I saw what would have happened had GOD not intervened and protected me.
Thayne also shares three questions drawn from his life review: 1. Can you demonstrate unconditional love in all things? 2. Can you let go of the hurt others have caused you, so you don’t carry hardness in your heart to Heaven? 3. Can you find GOD from within? He says he learned during his near-death experience that the entire Universe is organized by math, and that mathematical principles could also be applied to human emotion and life. He describes adding what brings goodness and joy, subtracting what hurts or weighs us down, and multiplying goodness through action and intention. Division means sharing the abundance left over after meeting our needs and keeping a little extra for security. Gratitude represents the equal sign because, he says, it brings balance and is the spark and fuel for love. He also emphasizes staying centered and present. He says GOD communicates with us in the present moment. In his life review, Thayne says GOD showed him both the bad things he had done and the beautiful things he had done. He then had the opportunity to return to earthly life. Afterward, Thayne says he no longer saw himself as a victim and felt grateful for his life.
He describes his relationship with GOD today as a direct connection between GOD and the Light in his own heart. He says he now leads from his heart, following the Light and choosing what is good. He believes many things taught in world religions are true, while others have been manipulated by men for greed and power. He sees himself as a child of GOD, with the Light in his soul coming from the same Light GOD has. His priorities also changed. He learned to let go of material things he had once thought mattered, such as money. For him, what matters is connection to people’s souls and the love he puts into the world. He lives by the motto “Dare to be second,” explaining that putting GOD first and ourselves second brings balance. He also describes changes in his own mental health since his experience.
I spent the last three years unpacking my NDE [near-death experience] and creating a company to help people heal because I no longer have any of those things that I once had. No DID [dissociative identity disorder], no PTSD [post-traumatic stress disorder], no bipolar, no ADHD [attention-deficit/ hyperactivity disorder]. All of that has been completely removed and healed from me. And I don’t have any pills. I once had seven pill boxes. Today I have zero. For Thayne, the lasting lesson of his near-death experiences is the importance of love: choosing goodness, letting go of hurt, and sharing what he has with others. His message is that life is worth living and that its most beautiful parts are the simple things. (Not the End NDE YouTube channel)
