Previously in this multipart series on Josh Miles’s near-death experience, Josh described becoming critically ill with COVID in 2020. While his father drove him to the hospital in a truck, he suffered a medical crisis and recalls leaving his body. He was pulled into a realm he recognized as hell, then experienced a journey through Light into Heaven as his father continued driving and praying beside him. There, he felt complete in GOD’s presence and saw extraordinary beings gathered around HIS throne. He never wanted to experience another place again. In Part 5, Josh describes returning to his body and the difficulties he faced during his early recovery. Josh returned to his body in the truck beside his father. But coming back meant leaving behind the completeness he had felt in Heaven.
It sounds ungrateful, but there was a span of time that I was upset. And it’s like, yeah, if I went straight from hell back here, yeah, I would have been ecstatic. But going from Heaven to here, no, I was not, because nothing touches Heaven. I mean this with every fiber of my being: nothing comes close to the presence of GOD. I was just standing there doing nothing. And that was the most accomplished and purposeful thing compared to everything I’ve ever done here. And you go from hell to Heaven to here, and you realize Earth is way closer to hell than it is Heaven, both physically and in its essence. And coming back here to that, going from Heaven, was one of the worst feelings I’ve ever felt. Despite that painful contrast, Josh says he loves his life and is grateful for another chance to help others.
Back in his physical body in the truck, he was still weak and could barely move. Everything seemed dark and heavy, and even moving an arm required deliberate effort, unlike the effortless movement he remembered from Heaven. His father lifted him out of the truck, placed him in a wheelchair, and wheeled him into the hospital. Josh could barely speak, struggled to understand words fully, and felt as though he was watching from behind his own eyes. His father’s expression reassured him. Josh felt that his father was confident GOD would help him recover, and that confidence meant more to him than his father realized. For months, Josh struggled to walk and speak, yet he could still sing flawlessly. Sometimes he sang what he wanted to say. He believed GOD had allowed him to keep his gift of singing.
In Part 6, Josh describes his continued recovery and reflects on the warnings he believes GOD had given him before his near-death experience— including a shooting he survived. I got 40, 50 bullets flying at me, trying to get out of a certain situation that I was in. And somehow me and the person that I was [with] were unharmed, unscathed, but yet the structures in front of us were Swiss cheese. Join us tomorrow for Part 6 of this multipart series on Josh Miles’s near-death experience. (GOD Encounters with Janie DuVall YouTube channel - Thank you)
