As We Recognize and See Light Within Ourselves, We Naturally Recognize That Same Light in All Things, Regardless of Appearances

I humbly bow in reverence to Beloved Master. Respectful greetings to all the Saints in the Supreme Master Television team. I would like to share my personal experiences in practicing Quan Yin meditation. After receiving initiation in 2000, I have devoted myself to practicing meditation on the Quan Yin (inner Heavenly Sound) and Quan Guang (inner Heavenly Light), and my material and spiritual life have gradually become better and more beautiful. I have had several spiritual experiences, but the most profound is that I have personally realized the truths mentioned in the Heart Sutra. I now clearly and deeply understand what the state of “All phenomena are without characteristics, unborn and undying, neither defiled nor pure, neither increasing nor decreasing ” truly means.

Suddenly, I came to clearly understand the meanings of all the scriptures that I had previously found vague and difficult to comprehend. I experienced the “inherent self-nature that is always luminous, clear, and peaceful,” and came to understand what it means to “let the mind arise without dwelling on anything,” as mentioned in the Diamond Sutra. With my ordinary eyes, I can see that seemingly solid material things, such as buildings and ceilings, are actually not truly solid. They vibrate as though they were a mass of duckweed gathered together on the surface of water. I also came to understand what the scriptures mean when they say that “all phenomena arise from emptiness.” Impermanence comes from this very principle: everything is simply a process of coming together and dispersing according to causes and conditions.

Now I can meditate while carrying out my daily activities — washing dishes, cooking, eating and drinking, and so on. Naturally, I have come to love all beings, including nature, plants, grass, stones, and so on. I love our animal friends, the insects, and even the tiny ants — let alone human beings. Even when someone speaks sweetly to me with a friendly smile, if there is malicious intent in their heart, I can recognize the truth behind that deception. I simply quietly keep my distance, without any longer having a mind that opposes or confronts them.

In addition, many miraculous things have happened in my daily life, and I have always felt an invisible protection and safeguarding. I am infinitely grateful to Master. You are the Light of my life and the refuge upon which I rely to live peacefully in this Saha world. With deepest reverence, I bow to and express my gratitude to Beloved Master. I pray that Master’s Dharma body remains healthy and peaceful, that Master may be blessed with greater longevity, good health, and a long life to continue uplifting sentient beings and helping the world create peace.
