“Drunken Master” is based on the life of the folk hero Wong Fei-hung. His father sends Wong Fei-hung to learn discipline and martial arts instruction from Beggar So, who is the so-called “drunken master”. Through his training, Wong Fei-hung grows from a hotheaded juvenile into a righteous and courageous man. “The Grandmaster” follows the story of martial arts master Ip Man, highlights compassion, restraint, virtue and wisdom. Gong Baosen, the President of the Chinese Martial Artists Association, is seeking for an heir. Ip Man, the brilliant master of the Wing Chun style, is selected to contest for the position. The two of them compete against each with ideas rather than martial arts.
