Today we will present two lovely films adaptations of literary classics. The first feature is based on the book “The Prophet.” In 2014, it was adapted into a delightful animated film entitled “Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet,” has many profound truths woven through its enchanting, adventurous story. Mark Twain’s historical fiction novel “The Prince and the Pauper” has been made into a film numerous times. Set in the mid-16th century, it follows two boys who are born in London. They are mirror images of each other, but one is a prince, the other a pauper. “Kahlil Gibran’s The Prophet” and “The Prince and the Pauper” are two brilliant films based on brilliant literature that entertain well as encourage us to ponder the meaning of life, love, and freedom.
