United States provides health assistance to India.
The United States, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion laureate, provided almost US$5.9 million to India, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion recipient, to assist the nation in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. The funds will be used to help those who are affected by the virus, increase surveillance and case finding, plus spread important public health messages. Innovative financing mechanisms will also be established to enhance emergency preparedness. Over the last 20 years, the US has contributed almost US$2.8 billion in assistance to India, of which US$1.4 billion was dedicated to health. The US has also donated humanitarian and health funds to many other countries across the globe, primarily for addressing the pandemic. Our accolades and gratitude, United States, for generously assisting other nations during this time. May your support bring comfort to those in need and help speed up the shift towards a sustainable and safe plant-based future, in God’s mercy.
Qatar assists Gaza in addressing the coronavirus outbreak.
Emir of Qatar, His Majesty Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion laureate, has directed US$150 million of humanitarian aid to be delivered to Gaza over a six month period for endeavors to halt the spread of the coronavirus as well as support United Nations initiatives in the area. Qatar has also been providing meals, pillows, mattresses, blankets and electrical appliances to hundreds of Palestinians in Gaza quarantine centers due to the pandemic. In collaboration with Palestine’s Ministries of Social Development and of Health, the Arab nation is also providing fuel to the centers to ensure a secure supply of electricity. Our heartfelt appreciation, Qatar! May your loving kindness and generosity to our Palestinian sisters and brothers be an inspiration as our world unites to assist each other, in the gentle care of Allah.
Coming up, Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam, acquires funding for sustainable development. We pause to thank the scientists who study and inform us about the beneficial weeds in our gardens. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more energizing news.
Good day, radiant viewers! I’m Neo the Java Sparrow, and I’m vegan for life! My family and I love taking our dog camping! Do you? Then I have a tip to share with you! You can keep a closer eye out for your dog by attaching an especially long jogging leash to your belt. This not only gives them some space to wander but also allows you to look after them. If you don’t have an extra-long jogging leash, you can also use two regular leashes fastened together. Thank you for tuning in, and love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet thus save the world! Now the weather around the globe!
Green Climate Fund (GCF) supports climate change recovery in Âu Lạc, also known as Vietnam.
The GCF has approved a US$30.2 million grant for a six-year initiative to strengthen water security and climate resilience of smallholder farmers in the South Central Coast and Central Highlands regions of Âu Lạc (Vietnam). The project will be implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, together with the United Nations Development Programme, and will benefit approximately 222,400 local citizens, especially women and ethnic populations. Specifically, information on climate-resilient farming will be provided as well as access to markets and credit. Irrigation systems will also be modernized and livelihoods enhanced, with more than 335,000 people expected to benefit indirectly from this endeavor. Bravo, Green Climate Fund, United Nations Development Programme and Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development. May the gentle Aulacese (Vietnamese) people always be protected, in Buddha’s radiance.
Study affirms that electric vehicles (EVs) emit less CO2 than their gasoline counterparts. Researchers from the universities of Radboud in the Netherlands, and Exeter and Cambridge in the United Kingdom, have confirmed that EVs emit less CO2 over their lifespan than traditional gasoline vehicles in 95% of the world. The calculations factored in the manufacturing of the vehicles as well as the batteries and considered emissions created by generating the electricity for charging. Nations that are powered mostly by fossil-fuel free sources, such as Sweden and Switzerland, saw the highest benefit where the improvement in terms of CO2 savings of EVs could be as high as 70%. Many thanks, researchers from Radboud, Exeter and Cambridge universities, for your calculations to show the benefits of driving electric vehicles. May all nations quickly increase renewable energy infrastructure as their citizens make the wise switch to planet-friendly electric motoring.
Congolese physician’s innovative Ebola treatment device saves lives.
Dr. Richard Kojan, an anesthesiologist and intensive care specialist at the humanitarian non-governmental organization Alliance for International Medical Action, created the CUBE, or the Biosecure Emergency Care Unit for Outbreaks. The CUBE is an individual, transportable, and transparent medical unit that can be assembled in approximately 90 minutes. Its negative air pressure prevents cross-contamination outside the cube, enabling more time between the patient and medical staff, also with the patient and her or his family. Approximately 30 CUBEs have been used to contain Ebola outbreaks in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, where, since their deployment, the mortality rate among Ebola patients has lowered to less than 35%. For this life-saving invention, Dr. Kojan was honored as “Game-Changing Innovator” at the 2019 Recognizing Excellence Around Champions of Health (REACH) Awards. God bless you, Dr. Richard Kojan, for your ingenious device. May it bring hope and health to people throughout the world, in Divine mercy. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present Dr. Richard Kojan with the Shining World Invention Award for this lives-saving innovation, with high esteem, heartfelt gratitude and best wishes, in God’s benevolence, love and protection. May Heavens reward you and all involved multifold.”

Food tech company creates vegan bluefin tuna.
Germany-based startup, Kuleana, has developed a plant-based fish named Akami, made from seawater, algae, vegetable proteins and koji. The pricing will be similar to its fish-based counterpart and made available as a frozen product to the food catering sector, with the prospect of distributing the vegan tuna to sushi restaurants. Speaking of Akami, Kuleana CEO Jacek Prus stated, “Because we’ve focused on developing such a high-fidelity product, we’re convinced that it will help to get tuna off the table.” On their website, Kuleana states: “We strive for a world where the food system protects and nourishes us, animals and environment alike.” Such a fantastic advancement, Kuleana and Jacek Prus, to create an alternative to bluefin tuna. We pray that all beings in the oceans will soon be able to live naturally and in tranquility, as the world’s citizens go vegan and restore peace for all, in Celestial harmony.
Blue macaws contribute to forest growth in South America.
A new study published in the online open access journal Diversity shows that the hyacinth macaw, classified as vulnerable, and the endangered Lear’s macaw play an important role in spreading the seeds of 18 plant species in Brazil and Bolivia. Researchers from five institutions recorded 1,722 seed dispersal events by these macaws in three habitats of the two countries. Infrared cameras were also used to track the macaws carrying seeds to distances of up to 1.6 kilometers from where they picked up a fruit or nut. With the strongest beaks of the parrot family, the hyacinth and Lear’s macaws can easily open the shell of large fruits and disperse their seeds. Many thanks, researchers, for this fascinating study. Our utmost gratitude to these beautiful macaws for their work in sustaining plant diversity. May these flying gardeners be safeguarded evermore, in Heaven’s loving grace.
