Japan provides strong assistance to the Global Fund.

Japan, a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Animal Protection and Generosity laureate, pledged a US$476.4 million contribution for the year 2020 to the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria, a Swiss-based international organization. The donation is part of the country’s US$840 million commitment to the Global Fund and its goal of ending these three diseases worldwide by 2030. Japan also supported a more recent Global Fund endeavor that allows countries to allocate up to 5% of their grants to dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic. Our accolades, Japan, for your great caring spirit. In Heaven’s infinite blessings, may we soon have a healthier world through the virtuous vegan diet, which is one of the best protections!

United States helps Jordan with COVID-19 response.

The United States, a Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion laureate, has donated US$8 million to help Jordan during the pandemic. This includes US$6.5 million in humanitarian aid to provide refugees with healthcare, cash aid for necessities for those living outside of settlements, and additional hours of electricity in camps to ensure the continuity of remote education. Individuals who no longer have the means to earn their livelihood will also be helped. The remaining US$1.5 million will be used to strengthen Jordan’s case management systems and capacity for large-scale COVID-19 testing. Previously, the US has contributed to improving services at more than140 health facilities in Jordan, benefitting 70% of the population. Our sincere appreciation, United States. Your solidarity with vulnerable populations in this trying time shows how we can better face challenges by caring for one another, in the grace of the Providence.

Hi, there, I’m Kathy the Kermode Bear! Here is a good tip to save energy. Adjust your computer’s power settings by ensuring that your hard drive and monitor are set to “sleep” mode when you are away from your computer for several minutes. Decreasing the brightness of your screen will also help conserve energy. Lots of love for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet, for all of us humans and all co-inhabitants alike. And thank you for watching. Now, the weather around the world.

Hungary holds country’s first technology-neutral renewables auction.

Hungary recently awarded72 projects 131.4 megawatts of solar energy and 500 kilowatts of biomass in the form of a landfill gas plant. The Hungarian Energy and Public Utility Regulatory Authority will provide the selected winners annual subsidies of US$704,000 for 15 years. The auction follows an announcement by the government earlier in the year of its goal for Hungary to be fully carbon neutral by 2050 and make 90% of the power grid carbon-free by 2030. Thank you, Hungarian government, for your high standards and dutiful support of green energy technology. In God’s radiance, may your efforts be blessed to transform all aspects of your bright nation to be evermore in harmony with the planet.

Seychelles, a Shining World Leadership Award for Noble Governance laureate, legalizes protection of its marine areas.

Seychelles President His Excellency Danny Faure announced that the island nation has legally declared 30% of its territorial waters, or 410,000 square kilometers, as Marine Protection Areas, with the legislation for 13 new safeguarded areas to be implemented in 2021. Half of these locations will be designated as Marine National Parks and will only allow eco-tourism. This major accomplishment, which is 10 years ahead of international goals, was planned by the government of Seychelles and United States-based nonprofit The Nature Conservancy. Our gratitude, Your Excellency Danny Faure, Seychelles, The Nature Conservancy, and all supporters of this fantastic endeavor. May your bold actions inspire many other countries to strongly protect our treasured oceans, in Heaven’s mercy.

Report finds market for vegan food to experience rapid growth.

India-headquartered market research company, Absolute Market Insights, has released a report stating that the vegan food market will grow by 11.4% annually and globally reach an estimated US$27.98 billion by 2027. The research highlighted both government initiatives and individuals’ motivations for health and environmental concerns as driving factors. In addition, the COVID-19 pandemic is opening new opportunities for plant-based alternatives as sales of animal products decrease. Also noted was the growing number of fast-food restaurant chains that are offering plant-based alternatives, and start-ups such as Beyond Meat and Impossible Foods that are producing popular vegan items. We appreciate your report, Absolute Market Insights. Our heartfelt thanks also go to the many companies and individuals working to create a thriving plant-based future, in Heaven’s universal love.

British Airways transports animal friends to new life.

British Airways recently flew 36 dogs and 14 cats who had been left homeless in Cyprus to the United Kingdom in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Charities throughout Cyprus helped rescue the companions, who were given medical checkups before going to new homes or specific rescue centers. Highly qualified staff helped care for the feline and canine passengers aboard the airplane, which was also transporting vital medical supplies and other goods. Captain Paul Walker-Northwood of the flight crew stated, “We are sure [the dogs’ and cats’] arrival will bring real much-needed pleasure to their new families during a challenging period.” Many thanks, British Airways plus charities and adopters involved. We pray that all our lovable animal neighbors facing unfortunate circumstances are protected and cherished, in Celestial compassion.

Time now to enjoy the joke of the day entitled “Lasting Marriage.

When I asked my friend Larry the secret to his 52 years of marriage, he replied:

“We never go to sleep angry.”

“That's a great philosophy,” I noted.

“Yes. And the longest we’ve been awake so far is five days.”

And now we have a heartline from Xiao Hua in China:

Hallo, Supreme Master Television team! I am an initiate from China. My hometown is a beautiful and prosperous city, and I live in a community with a forest-style garden. There are more than 2,000 households and a few initiates in the community. We play Supreme Master Television 24-hours a day, 7-days a week. Ever since Supreme Master Television was broadcasted, our village has changed greatly. Three groups have been formed by the community residents. The first group has 500 members who are in charge of promoting public security and environmental protection, and caring for flowers, trees, and birds. There is a big fruit tree in front of my window and there are hundreds of birds and magpies coming to eat and drink every day, and some of them take a bath in the water basin. Looking at them, I feel joyful and happy. There are more than 100 people in the second group, and they are specialized i n taking care of trees. They volunteer to water, prune, trim, mulch, and fertilize the trees. Besides that, they also plant flowers and grass in unused places, thus the community has become greener and the air has been cleaned. The third is a non-profit enzyme group. The teacher explains to the group the effects and benefits of enzymes, which not only helps reduce garbage but also protects the soil. Sometimes, the teacher also goes to the residents’ houses to help produce enzymes. Sixty percent of the households use enzymes to wash dishes, vegetables, and clean the floor. It has reduced the garbage and protected the environment. It is due to Supreme Master TV’s blessing that people’s hearts have turned to be loving and kind. I hope that every one of us takes actions for the sake of our future generations, all human beings, and our beautiful home planet; and that we all live a virtuous life, give our love and help to the world, meanwhile help the animals and stop killing by converting to the vegan diet; and that all wars will be stopped, peace will be right here in front of us, and paradise will appear on earth again! We are very grateful for Master’s blessing and the efforts of the Supreme Master TV team that have made the greatest contribution to world peace.
