“The dairy industry has convinced us that bone health is all about calcium, and calcium is all about milk.” “I can’t even articulate some of the things that I’ve seen.” “When I have nightmares now, it’s the sound of those pigs’ screams that I’m hearing.” The highly acclaimed “I Could Never Go Vegan” may be the most comprehensive documentary ever made. “We show in the film that the studies tell us, if we switched to, as I mentioned earlier, if we switched entirely to a plant-based farming system, we’d free up 76% of all land. So that’s accounting for all land that’s currently used for farming, for animals, for plants, for everything.”

James shares his incredible findings about how many animal-people we, as individuals, would save by changing to a compassionate vegan diet. “What we really wanted to get across within the film is, if you went plant-based, or vegan, for that year, you would save approximately 100 animals lives. Then, imagine over the course of a lifetime how many thousands are saved. Then, imagine that if that spreads to your friends and families. So, it trickles down and it quickly multiplies, so I would argue that you can make a huge difference.”

As we conclude our two-part show, Tom shares what he and his brother, James, hope to achieve with their vegan documentary, “I Could Never Go Vegan.” “I think I would just encourage people to watch it with an open mind. So, I think if people can do that, then hopefully, we can do our job with what we’ve done in putting the film together, in at least planting a seed and making them think about things, so that they start their journey towards hopefully living a more kind and compassionate lifestyle.” “And as I say, the more that we come together and the bigger we get, the louder our voice is, and we will be heard eventually. So that is what we need to do.”
