You probably know that there are many physical health benefits to a vegan diet. One of them is the increased plant fiber to improve your intestinal function. Here is a healthy food and fiber tip for you. There are many benefits of linseed, also known as flaxseed. It is a superfood that promotes digestion and skin health. Additionally, it helps reduce cholesterol levels and assists in weight loss. Flaxseed can be consumed raw or cooked, whole or ground. Nutrients in flax are better absorbed by the body when it is ground. Please note that grinding should take place just prior to consumption, since the fats rapidly degrade and lose some of their nutritional value. You can incorporate ground flax in a sandwich, salad, smoothie, or use it to make flax porridge. Whole seeds on the other hand, are appropriate for cooking. Soak them in warm water ‒ ideally at room temperature ‒ to create a beneficial mucilage. It is not necessary to crush the seeds for this since the gelling components are located in the outer layer and rapidly transfer to the water. It is advisable to drink the mucilage prepared along with the seeds, and it is best to chew them, allowing as many nutrients to be absorbed as possible. Increase your water intake when adding flaxseed to your diet to avoid constipation.

A healthy dose of amusement is waiting for you as the joke of the day just pulled up. It’s called “Leftovers.”

When dinner was served, young Kendra complained:

“Oh no! Not leftovers again, Dad.”

“Young lady, do you know how many people would love to have a delicious supper like this?! You should be ashamed of yourself! Now, before we start eating, I want to hear you say grace, thanking the Lord for this delicious meal!”

“Thank you, Lord, for this delicious supper….again!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from You-Zhe in China
