All the Buddha in the ten directions are one. It is “heart-to-heart transmission,” the so-called initiation. After being initiated, we can hear those sounds. We can see the Buddha realm or the light of the Buddha. We will know what is our Buddha Nature. We will be in contact with our Real Self.
