My choices on my plate weren’t reflecting who I really was and what my values were. And those were compassion and to see justice and peace in the world. And when our food choices are not reflecting that, we’re in a constant battle. So for me, veganism was the next step. Of course, it’s been the best decision of my life to know that I’m contributing less to animal suffering of any kind makes me feel better as a person.
