This is the tenth and final sonata of the visionary Russian composer and spiritual practitioner Alexander Scriabin. The sonata contains flashes of light which the composer describes as "powerful, radiating". One of the most wondrously gifted composers of the 20th century was the French composer Maurice Ravel. In his incredible piano suite Gaspard de la Nuit, Ravel stretches sonorities to raise a new world of tantalizing aural riches which cannot but propel consciousness into realms unchartered.
