But if you do not let go of yourself completely, if you do not drown yourself in this bottomless sea of the Godhead, you cannot get to know this divine light.” The beautiful and insightful quotation we just heard reveals the timeless wisdom of 13th century German mystic, respected philosopher, and theologian, Meister Eckhart. His teachings remind us that God is found within all things; a concept which was considered quite radical during his time.
