Previously in this multipart series on Greg Johnson’s near-death experience, Greg described years of spiritual suffering that began when he was a child and a later overdose that left him with severe heart damage. Years later, at a hidden canyon river, he sat alone on a rock, listening to the water. In the stillness, he heard his damaged heart beat, stop almost like a flatline, and beat again — and he felt himself inching toward death.
As a door opened onto a dark path, Greg moved through the darkness, saw his body disappear, and eventually found himself before a being of Light. She took him through the stars until Earth was long gone. Then he arrived before a council of beings who said they had been waiting for him since before he was born. When they opened a door in the center of their circle, Greg walked through — and says he met GOD in all HIS Glory.
But the first thing I’ll say is that HE was absolutely massive. HE is so big, you can’t even fathom the size of it. You could stand before a mountain, you could stand before the Sun, and not even close. So, HE was really big. The reason I call HIM HE, just like the reason I called the angel a she, was because HIS energy was very male. Very, very, very male and very heavy-handed. You could feel [it]. It reminds me of a scriptural verse that says that HE will rule with an iron rod. HIS Law, there is no breaking HIS Law. There is no bending HIS Law. HIS Law is the Law. What was more interesting about it was not so much what HE looked like, actually. It’s what HE moved like and what HE sounded like. HE moved like a river. HE looked like a gigantic cosmic river, but there were so many colors in the river. Stars and colors and reds and blues, and even the background was actually kind of black, like the Universe. When you look up at the stars, the background is black. And HE’s flowing like a river. And again, a lot of this stuff was very instinctual. I literally start walking right into HIM. And it looked like a scene out of a movie because it looked like I was walking into a river. And I’m just walking into HIM, up until I’m probably about to my waist deep, I decided to lie in HIM. So, I just opened my arms, and I just lay back, as if, ironically, it looks a lot like baptism. I think that there’s a reason that they baptize in a river. Honestly, I think the river and the wind are the closest things that you’ll ever see that look like GOD. And that’s what HE does. HE washes things away, but HE also carries knowledge and wisdom. So, when I lay in HIM, the amount of information, I can’t even begin to comprehend this. Every nanosecond, forget every second, every nanosecond, you’d have millions, if not billions, of the most brilliant ideas, most wisest things that you’ve ever heard, just flowing.
Overwhelmed by the torrent of information — every piece of it a pure answer, with no questions attached — Greg faced a choice: try to grasp individual pieces of knowledge, or simply let it all flow through him.
And so I just let all HIS Glory flow through me. I’d rather just have HIM and not remember it. I just decided to go with it. And there was so much information. But the weird thing about HIS information was that it was only answers. So, everything was an answer to whatever question. And I remember, HE spoke to me at that moment, because I was thinking like, “This is nothing but answers. And it doesn’t make any sense to me.” But I can feel the wisdom. I can feel the brilliance in it. And then, that’s when HE spoke. HE says, “There are no questions here. Only answers.” That’s what HE said. And that’s all HE was. HE was a river of answers. And all you have to do is figure out the right question. But HE was nothing but answers. HE was nothing but Light.
I knew when I was a kid, and I was feeling that emptiness and that pain. I just felt instinctively. I don’t know how I knew this. I just knew that HE was the only thing that could quench that thirst or make that pain subside. And when I was with HIM, I didn’t feel empty anymore. I just had my Father back. I just wanted to be with HIM. I just missed HIM. I was shown a lot of things. I was shown how HE had chosen me for this. Apparently, I volunteered. I didn’t even know any of this stuff. Apparently, I volunteered to come to Earth. I came here to want to do something, actually, for HIM, something that would carry out HIS Will on Earth. I didn’t even realize that’s why I went through all the suffering.
In Part 6, Greg asks why GOD allowed him to suffer for so many years. I didn’t realize that the suffering would open a door that would lead me to HIM. And that’s what HE told me. Join us tomorrow for Part 6 of this multipart series on Greg Johnson’s near-death experience. (Round Trip Death)
