In today’s news, Australian government supports COVID-19 vaccine rollout in Cambodia, United Nations study shows 2020 was one of the hottest years on record, vulnerable African elephants can now be counted from space, new electric vehicle battery designed in Israel fully charges in five minutes, tiny home village in United States provides housing to homeless individuals, German dairy company starts selling vegan oat milk, and thousands of sea turtles rescued from freezing waters in Texas, USA.

Australia supports coronavirus vaccinations in Cambodia.

The Australian government has granted around US$28 million for COVID-19 vaccines approved by the World Health Organization for at least 1.5 million citizens of Cambodia. The funds will cover the costs of the vaccine purchasing and distribution, plus the implementation of the campaign which includes sharing precise inoculation information with the people and supervising the safety and effectiveness of the vaccines. Cambodia has already received a pledge of US$50 million in development aid from Australia this year to address the pandemic. Australia is a recipient of five Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Protection and Good Governance; as well as a laureate of three Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, and Shining World Leadership Awards for Caring, Good Governance, Health Guardian and High Moral Value. Our loving gratitude and God bless, Australia, for your significant assistance to Cambodia. May all nations help each other during this challenging time, in Heaven’s uplifting grace.

United Nations warns of devastating rise in global temperature.

According to a study by the UN World Meteorological Organization, 2020 was among the top three warmest years together with 2016 and 2019. Last year’s global average temperature was approximately 14.9°C, marking an increase of 1.2°C compared to the pre-industrial (1850-1900) level. Speaking of the report, United Nations Secretary-General, His Excellency António Guterres, stated, “We are headed for a catastrophic temperature rise of three to five degrees Celsius this century. Making peace with nature is the defining task of the 21st century. It must be the top priority for everyone, everywhere.” The United Nations is a laureate of the Shining World Leadership Award for Humanitarianism and two Shining World Leadership for Lives-Saving-Hero Awards. Many thanks, Your Excellency António Guterres and the UN World Meteorological Organization, for your sobering warning to humanity. In Divine awakening, may all quickly embrace the vegan lifestyle to save our one and only Earth home for future generations.

Up next, vulnerable African elephants can now be counted from space. We’ll take a moment to thank the volunteers at the animal rescue shelters for lovingly taking care of the animals and their living spaces. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more uplifting news.

Hallo, nice friends, I’m Casey the vegan Cayenne Stubfoot Toad! People say being vegan keeps you young and happy, look at me, I’m the proof! Here comes a tip for teaching your children money management skills early on. Label three mason jars to divide up money – one each for saving, spending and donating. Each time your child receives cash, whether earned from doing chores or as a gift, encourage them to split up the money equally among the jars. This way they will learn how to think about the value of a dollar, plus the importance and rewarding feeling of giving to charity. Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Thank you for watching. And now, the weather around the world.

Scientists teach software to monitor vulnerable elephants from space.

Researchers from the United Kingdom and the Netherlands have developed artificial intelligence to count African elephants, utilizing high-resolution satellite photographs to help keep track of their population numbers. Data from South Africa’s Addo Elephant National Park, which contains a mix of open savanna and forested lands, was used to train the algorithm that can visually distinguish the elephants from various backgrounds. The system has the capacity to scan as much as 5,000 square kilometers of pachyderm territory during a clear day, thus supporting elephant conservation efforts without the need for aircraft surveys. Our admiration, researchers, with appreciation to the conservation groups who are interested in using this software. May our gentle elephant friends be always protected to live long and peace-filled lives, in the love of the Providence.

Chinese and Israeli companies pioneer quick-charge electric vehicle (EV) battery.

The next generation lithium-ion car battery with a charge time of just five minutes has been created by Israeli-based EV battery developer StoreDot and produced by Chinese EV battery manufacturer EVE Energy. One thousand samples have been made to illustrate the feasibility of bringing the super-fast-charging battery to market. For 2025, StoreDot has set a goal of providing 160 kilometers with a five-minute charge while utilizing existing charging infrastructure. This innovation, together with the increase in upgraded charging stations, would facilitate the overall transition to electric vehicles, as a number of countries in Europe and North America are looking to phase out non-electric vehicles within the next several decades. Cheers, StoreDot and EVE Energy, for your commitment to a cleaner transport sector. In Heaven’s benevolence, may such green endeavors help pave the way towards a bright planetary future.

Tiny house initiative for homeless people launched in Los Angeles.

The non-profit Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission has established “Tiny Home Village,” consisting of 40 homes and 75 beds, in North Hollywood, Los Angeles, United States. The almost six-square-meter units are equipped with two beds, a desk, air-conditioning, heater, windows and a lockable door. A laundromat, restrooms, shower facilities and space for companion dogs are also available free-of-charge, as are three meals daily. In addition, a variety of services are offered to support securing permanent homes. Los Angeles city has financed the building of the houses at US$6,000 each, while the nonprofit operates the project, with another village planned to open next month. Los Angeles is a laureate of two Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion and a Shining World Super Loving Care Leadership Award. A mighty applause, Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission and Los Angeles, for your merciful collaboration. We pray to God for all fellow humans to have warm and safe places to live. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Hope of the Valley Rescue Mission, plus a humble US$10,000 to further your caring endeavors, with special thanks to the Los Angeles city government for your loving support. May Heaven bless all involved, including those whose lives you change.”

Coming up, German dairy company starts selling oat milk. Let’s pause now to express our gratitude to the courageous healthcare workers, who also bring love and encouragement to their patients. More touching news coming up on Supreme Master Television. Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Assuring News for a Gentler World.

German dairy company introduces oat milk variety.

Naarmann, which supplies kitchens in the food service industry, has released a range of vegan oat milk products called WE PLANTS. Three different plant-based items will be available: oat milk in one-liter and 5-liter packs, a cooking cream with 15% fat, and a sour cream with 20% fat that is fermented with non-animal cultures. The products provide appealing replacements to traditional dairy-based items, as they do not contain cholesterol, casein or lactose, are environmentally friendly, and no cows are harmed in their manufacturing. Fantastic news, Naarmann. In the goodwill of the Providence, may delectable and compassionate plant-based products be the fundamental food in every home around the world.

Rescued sea turtles return home after winter storm in Texas.

Over 9,400 sea turtles were brought to safety from freezing waters off the Texas Gulf Coast in the United States, following an unprecedented winter storm. Due to chilly temperatures, sea turtles can enter into hypothermia, hindering their ability to move, eat or hold their head above water. The non-profit Sea Turtle Inc. and volunteers urgently worked to rescue the cold-stunned reptiles and rehabilitate them in their facilities. As the weather warmed up, the rehabilitation and rescue center began to release the turtles back into the open sea. Our standing ovation and gratitude to all involved in this considerate, life-saving endeavor. We are so happy to hear you are all right and back home, sweet sea turtles. In nurturing Celestial light, may our cherished marine friends always flourish as you bless our world with your loving presence. Supreme Master Ching Hai: “Tearfully present the Shining World Compassion Award to Sea Turtle Inc., plus a US$10,000 humble contribution to your benevolent efforts, with all love and gratitude. May Heaven bless you and the precious sea turtles forevermore.”

When you laugh, your soul is dancing, and your heart is smiling. Let’s take a moment to enjoy the joke of the day called, “Newlywed Housekeeper.”

Jenny was a newlywed bride and anything but a tidy housekeeper. It wasn’t really an issue until one evening when her husband Patrick called from the hall, somewhat dismayed:

“Honey, what happened to the dust on this table? I had a phone number written on it.”

?!
