Exploring ways to grow more foods at home? I have a tip on how to plant ginger indoors. Ginger can germinate from a dormant root known as a rhizome. Soak a healthy, organic ginger in water for a day to help expedite sprouting. Next, place the ginger into a soil-filled pot or tray, planting it approximately five centimeters (two inches) beneath the soil’s surface. Store the container in a warm area like on top of the refrigerator where heat is produced or near a heat register. It is important to keep the temperature at 21 degrees Celsius (70 degrees Fahrenheit) up to 32 degrees Celsius (90 degrees Fahrenheit). Heat is more important than sun when ginger is beginning to grow. The sun becomes crucial when the plant sprouts leaves. Lightly water your ginger once a week. Transfer it to its permanent pot once the ginger emerges.

We just browsed the giggle net and found the following joke, so let’s hear it! It’s entitled “Little Man, Big Demands.”

We took my little son to the beach for the first time, and he was absolutely amazed. He ran straight into the water, then immediately yelled:

“The ocean is BIG and wet!”

I laughed and said,

“Yeah, that’s kind of the point of the beach!”

He looked up at me seriously and said:

“OK, but where’s the swimming pool? This place needs a fence.”

I smiled and said,

“That’s called nature, buddy – no fences here!”

“Well, where is the vegan snack stand then? I’m hungry!”

?!

And now we have a heartline from Gabriela in Peru
