In today’s news, European Union support strengthens humanitarian response in Afghanistan, Pakistan, and Iran. African regions experience severe flooding, Israeli study finds artificial intelligence can use ultrasound scan to improve heart disease diagnoses, Amsterdam, the Netherlands, bans ads for animal-people meat and fossil fuels, US auto tech students give single mothers fresh start with repaired cars, Japanese company introduces genuine vegan sushi course, and firefighters in Ohio, USA, rescue missing dog companion trapped in well.

Come join me on a vegan camping trip and reconnect with nature. Here's a nifty way to make a safe camping or cooking fire outdoors. A Dakota fire hole burns at a very high temperature because of its air-intake design, making better use of fuel while producing very little smoke. Since the flames stay below ground level, the fire is hard to spot from a distance and works especially well in windy conditions. It’s also easy to cook over by placing a grill, steel mesh, or green sticks across the top to support a pot or pan. To build one, mark two holes in the ground: a smaller air hole about 15 centimeters(6 inches) wide and a larger fire hole about 25 centimeters (10 inches) wide, with roughly 20 centimeters (8 inches) between them. Dig both holes, then connect them with a tunnel about 10 to 15 centimeters (4 to 6 inches) in diameter. Build your fire at the base of the larger hole and you can start cooking almost immediately. Avoid placing a pot deep into the hole or fully covering it, as this can block airflow. To extinguish the fire safely, block both holes to cut off oxygen, cover them with soil, or use water.

We got something to relax your jaw muscle, please laugh! It’s called “The Gingerbread Horoscope.”

Sierra and her father were at home building a vegan gingerbread house. While they worked, Sierra asked:

“Dad, how’s the frosting coming along?”

“It’s going well.”

Then he cleared his throat and added:

“Hey, have you noticed my voice is kind of hoarse today?”

Sierra nodded.

“I know why.”

“Oh, really? Do tell.”

“It’s because you were born in the Year of the Horse!”

?!

And now we have a heartline in Persian, with multiple-language subtitles, from Kian in Iran
