“According to the prophecy of the most ancient Teachers, when humanity loses the foundation of the Teaching and sinks into obscurity, the Epoch of Maitreya will take place. … we shall say, The Ruler of Shambhala is the fiery Impeller of Life and of the Fire of the Mother of the World. Her Breath is ablaze with flame and Her Heart is aglow with the fire of the Silvery Lotus.”
The most sacred temple in Tibet is the Jokhang Temple nestled in the old town of Lhasa. In Tibetan, the temple is called ཇོ་ཁང།(Jo-khang), meaning the “House of the Lord.” That’s because the temple was built in the 7th century to enshrine a precious statue of the twelve-year-old Worshipped Shakyamuni Buddha (vegan). May the holy statues of Enlightened Masters remind us of our own sainthood and the importance of seeking a personal connection with a living Master.
In the last two episodes, we shared with you a prophecy related to the emergence of the Kingdom of Shambhala and the Shambhala Warriors at the end times. This is a prophecy Dr. Joanna Macy learned about from her Tibetan Buddhist teacher decades ago.
According to the Tibetan Buddhist Kalachakra or “Wheel of Time” Tantra, Shambhala has been, and will be, ruled by a succession of enlightened Kings, including the 25th Rigden King, Rudra Chakrin, also known as Rigden Djapo. It’s predicted that the final King of Shambhala will lead a holy battle to defeat the barbarians, or demons that will ravage the world at the end time.
As we keep following the traces from the scriptures, we find the prophecies by the Worshipped Shakyamuni Buddha (vegan) thousands of years ago. Before ascending to Heaven, the Buddha gave stark warnings regarding the deteriorating natural environment at the Dharma-Ending Age and the rise of a future Buddha with unsurpassed Compassion, Power and Merit.
“When the Dharma is about to perish, all the gods will begin to weep. Rivers will dry up and the five grains will not ripen. […] The mighty rivers will flood and lose harmony with their natural cycles, yet people will not take notice or feel concern. Extremes of climate will soon be taken for granted.”
“Since the Thus-Gone One is omniscient, I have prophesied that within this retinue, the Bodhisattva great being Maitreya will fully awaken to unsurpassed and perfect Buddhahood. […]
When sentient beings in the future take refuge in the Bodhisattva Maitreya, those who do so will attain the unsurpassed path and the non-regressing wheel of Dharma. […]
Those who recite the name of Maitreya even once will be freed from twelve hundred eons of birth and death and will have their misdeeds purified. Those who hear the name of Maitreya and join their palms together will be freed from fifty eons of birth and death. Those who respectfully prostrate to Maitreya will be liberated from one billion eons of birth and death and will have their misdeeds purified.”
Through studies, research, and inner visions, the esteemed mystical and philosophical Russian writers and theosophists, Nicholas and Helena Roerich (both vegetarians) concluded that the Lord of Shambhala, Mighty Rudra Chakrin and Maitreya Buddha are one and the same.
“Of course, all Buddhists believe that Maitreya will appear in Shambhala, and the most enlightened of them know that MAITREYA and the PRESENT LORD OF SHAMBHALA are One and the Same Individuality.”
“Over the snowy peaks of the Himalayas burns a bright glow, brighter than stars and the fantastic flashes of lightning. Who has kindled those pillars of light, which march across the heavens? … They come from Shambhala; from the Tower of the Great Coming One. MAITREYA COMES.”
The Roerichs recorded the uplifting teachings of their spiritual Teacher, Master Morya, also known as El Morya. Their book “Hierarchy,” published in 1931, contains passages about the Epoch of Maitreya as well as messages from the Ruler of Shambhala.

Our pillars of the foundation are sent to regenerate the spirit-understanding. Thus, say to those who do not understand, thus point out the doctrine of the Heart!
We know the tread of the Mother of the World. We know the manifestation of the Mother of the World. We intensify the complete flow of the Magnet to restore the doctrine of the Heart. I designate the Tara (Buddhist saviour-goddess) as the symbol of the assertion of Our Decree. The Tara and the Arhat bring to humanity a Covenant of utmost striving. Thus is the future built. Thus we affirm Our striving. Wondrous is the future! […]
For some, Shambhala is the Truth. For others, Shambhala is a utopia. For some the Ruler of Shambhala is a venerable sage. For others, the Ruler of Shambhala is the manifestation of riches. For some, the Ruler of Shambhala is a bedecked idol. For others, the Ruler of Shambhala is the Ruler of all Planetary Spirits. But we shall say, The Ruler of Shambhala is the fiery Impeller of Life and of the Fire of the Mother of the World. Her Breath is ablaze with flame and Her Heart is aglow with the fire of the Silvery Lotus.”
These words blend the Ruler of Shambhala with Maitreya Buddha, suggesting They are one and the same, that both are represented by the Mother of the World, a female incarnation. It describes a wondrous Epoch of Maitreya, the bright future of humanity when all will accept the Teachings of the Mother of the World.
“The Ruler of Shambhala reveals three Doctrines to humanity: the Teaching manifested by Maitreya summons the human spirit to our creative world; the Teaching of Maitreya ordains the infinite in Cosmos, in life, and in the attainments of the spirit; the Teaching of Maitreya guards the knowledge of the Cosmic Fire as the unfoldment of the heart that embraces the manifestation of the Universe.
The ancient legend that affirms the manifestation of Maitreya as a resurrection of the spirit is correct. We will add that the resurrection of the spirit as the conscious acceptance of the Teaching of Lord Maitreya may be precursor of the Advent. Verily, the resurrection!
Maitreya wishes to hasten all. Maitreya wishes that all should be successfully accomplished. Maitreya wishes you joy. Maitreya wishes to grant to humanity a gift through the fiery experience of Agni Yoga. Maitreya wishes to transform life on Earth in the radiance of the Mother of the World. The beauty of life is limitless! […]
Each Lord has His keynote. The Epoch of Maitreya proclaims Woman. The manifestation of Maitreya is linked with the confirmation of the Mother of the World, in the past, present, and future. The ‘Book of Life’ is so beautiful.”
Repeatedly the messages convey that a Woman, or the Mother of the World, will lead us to the Epoch of Maitreya. The records of the Roerichs once again affirm that Maitreya Buddha, Who is also the Lord of Shambhala, will appear as a female. Many of our Association members have long recognized that our Most Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan) is the Lord of Shambhala and also Maitreya Buddha.
“I flew at very high speed with Master’s Light manifestation body over the ice field of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau! We flew over many high mountains, deep valleys, and beautiful rivers, and in an instant came to a place with an invisible barrier that no one would discover. This was the entrance to Shambhala. After entering Shambhala, I saw many palaces with golden domes inside, all of which looked like they were made of gold, very brilliant.
We entered a palace and saw a Holy King! His Majesty’s appearance was very, very huge. At first my eyes could only see His left shoulder, and His shoulder radiated extremely brilliant golden Light. Later, I tried to adjust the eyes of the soul, looked again, and could see the King wearing battle armor, a crown on His head, a white beard on His face, sitting on the throne, an elderly holy King.
He said, ‘I was King Gesar, and now I am the King of Shambhala. Shambhala was set up by me many years ago. This is my resting place. When this invisible passage is opened again, a flower shaped like a ‘Holy Grail’ will bloom on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.’ He rose up from the throne and embraced me. Although I couldn’t see His huge appearance in the extremely bright Light, He was able to embrace me with His deep Love.
He said joyfully, ‘My child, you’ve come back. This journey has been long, but we’re now near the end of it. The reunion this time will bring back the threads that have spanned over a thousand years. Accompanying King Gesar through thick and thin, you have completed your mission.’ I was touched and puzzled at the same time: ‘Isn’t King Gesar the previous life of Master? Why did Master bring me to see King Gesar?’
The Light manifestation Master next to me said, ‘King Gesar is I, in another body. Both can exist at the same time. This body can govern the residents of Shambhala efficiently.’”
“[…] One time, while meditating through the Quan Yin Method, I saw Lord Shakyamuni Buddha appear with great dignity, His Light shining brilliantly. Then, He transformed into Maitreya Buddha with a joyful, compassionate smile.
In that Maitreya Buddha’s Dharma Body, Master appeared with long golden hair, Her Golden Body glowing amidst countless rays of Light, like thousands of Suns shining together. This inner vision made me realize that Master is the incarnation of Lord Shakyamuni Buddha and also Maitreya Buddha on Earth, coming to save sentient beings from suffering and misfortune. […]”

Supreme Master Ching Hai finally confirmed this fact on Supreme Master Television in July 2024.
“And I’m telling you now: I am a Buddha. Just in case I die tomorrow. And I’m a very special Buddha for this period of humans’ calamity. Believe it or not; it’s up to you. I don’t dare to lie in front of GOD Almighty, or all the Saints and Sages in the whole Universe.
I am the Maitreya Buddha that you have been waiting for. I am also Jesus, or the Messiah that you are waiting for. I say this once and for all. GOD wants me to tell you that! So do not waste your precious time waiting anymore. Just be morally good, praise GOD Who loves you and uplifts you. Thank all the Masters, Buddhas, for all you have been given. And for more if you ask for. Thank for your Liberation.”
As the King of Shambhala and Maitreya Buddha, Supreme Master Ching Hai is the “Commander in Chief” of the peaceful Shambhala warriors, both residing in the kingdom of Shambhala and on the surface of Earth.
