Cary Brown (vegan): Mariana and Lionel. You know, you’ve mentioned a few moments ago about Julie’s film, “Harmony.” And Julie’s film was inspired and narrated by a green hero. I know we have a lot in this room, but another green hero, His Royal Highness, Prince Charles. So, congratulations, that’s so cool. And Julie, speaking of vegan cooking, that’s quite a dinner they’re serving us tonight.

Ms. Julie Bergman Sender (vegetarian): It’s a beautiful dinner, and thanks to all the people who prepared it and served it. I would just like to add one more thing, which is, while the head of COP16 may be out there, the heart of COP16 is in here. And I want to say thank You to Supreme Master Ching Hai for having this gracious evening in this beautiful place, and to Mayor Zaragoza for having hosted it and opening your beautiful city. So, thank you.

Cary Brown (vegan): Well, you know, our dinner tonight was no animals at all. That’s wonderful, you know? The story about the cow, I can really relate and understand that. You see, we all love animals, a lot of us love animals, I love animals. You know, someone else who truly loves animals is the Supreme Master Ching Hai, and, in fact, She adopted 10 dogs and 23 birds, (Twenty-four, actually. They missed one out.) and has written three books about Her beloved animal friends, “The Dogs in My Life,” “The Birds in My Life,” and “The Noble Wilds,” all of which have become international bestsellers. So, this evening has a special surprise. And in recognition of Her devotion to saving lives of animals, a special animation has been created called, “Birds of Paradise.”

Ms. Julie Bergman Sender (vegetarian): Please enjoy this delightful animation based on Supreme Master Ching Hai and Her feathered family, “Birds of Paradise.”
