In Shining World Hero Award News from the United Kingdom

Bowza, a six-year-old Labrador-Rottweiler and Husky mix, was hailed as “the Hero of Hadleigh” in early 2019 in his UK hometown after his life-saving action. When out walking one day with his caregiver companion Don Cox, the pair came across an elderly lady who had fallen and was unable to move. Don realized with the lady being so exposed to the cold, she was at great risk of hypothermia, so he asked Bowza to come to the rescue. Without hesitation Bowza placed his paws and head on the lady in distress for more than an hour and a half, keeping her warm and comforting her with his calm, loving presence until help arrived.

For his gentle, caring and life-protecting act, our Beloved Supreme Master Ching Hai gratefully presented Bowza the Shining World Hero Award “plus US$2,000 for vegan snacks, with all love, a big hug, high five and gratitude in Heaven’s benevolence.”

Our Association members met with Bowza and his caregiver Mr. Cox to present the Award letter along with the crystalline plaque, Master’s publications and DVD’s, as well as Master’s monetary gift for vegan doggy treats. “The heartfelt warmth you showed has touched our soul, and so we humbly and gratefully offer you this Award in recognition of your extraordinarily gentleness and acute sense of purpose.”

“Thank you very much. That’s really nice. Bowza, that’s yours. Bowza is really honored and I am very proud of Bowza. I am really grateful for Master Ching Hai for presenting Bowza with this Award. And I’ve been on to the net, and I’ve been following the station [Supreme Master Television], and been seeing all the good You do around the world, looking after animals, saving animals in distress, and I think it’s an absolutely magnificent job. And honestly, I was not aware of this station beforehand, but now I’ve got it on my favorites on the computer. So, thank You very much.”

Our warm congratulations and lots of love, Bowza. Thank you for your tender affection, joy, compassion and comfort you offer to your human co-inhabitants, and for stepping up in time of need, being a true example of our animal friends’ unconditional love and uniqueness. May God bless you and Don Cox with many more happy and healthy years together, in Heaven’s delight. For the full presentation of the Shining World Hero Award to Bowza, please tune in to our Shining World Award program at a later date.

European Union supports Central African Republic in hygiene measures for pandemic response. The EU has provided €1.35 million via the European Development Fund for global anti-poverty charity, Oxfam, to construct 125 boreholes in the country’s capital of Bangui and the town of Paoua. The initiative will improve access to clean water sources, thus enabling communities to adhere to the government’s hand-washing standards to avert the spread of the novel coronavirus. Expected to be completed in six months, the project will also serve to enhance the long-term availability of drinking water as well as support the implementation of safe distancing and other hygiene practices recommended by the government. The European Union is a Shining World Leadership Award for Peace recipient, and a Shining World Leadership Awards for Compassion, Unconditional Care and True Caring laureate. We gratefully applaud your generosity, European Union, and your ongoing humanitarian work, Oxfam. Also, much appreciation, the Central African Republic government, for your praiseworthy collaborative effort. May the Divine shield and guide your tenderhearted people as we embrace a new, vegan planetary future.

Up next, wind energy rises in Poland. We’d like to thank the environmental engineering technicians who diligently collect samples from the air, ground and water, and analyze ways to prevent environmental pollution. Please stay tuned to Supreme Master Television for more righteous news.

Hallo nice friends, I’m Lilly the Lilac Breasted Roller, and I am empowered with speed, strength and endurance. I credit my prowess to my plant-based eating. Be vegan, like me. Start getting ready for your senior family member’s medical appointment a few weeks in advance by asking them how they are feeling or anything else relevant they might think of. This will allow them to have time to think and discuss things, while feeling more at ease in their own environment, rather than at the doctor’s office. Jot down their issues, questions, concerns, or new symptoms to bring up at the appointment. Love you for Being Veg and Going Green 2 Save the Planet for all humans and us all co-inhabitants. Thank you for watching. And now, the weather around the world.

New wind farm operating in Poland.

Global renewable energy giant RWE Renewables, headquartered in Germany, inaugurated its newest Nawrocko onshore wind farm in northwest Poland. The seven-megawatt energy plant consists of three wind turbines that harvest electricity to provide power for 15,000 homes. The company reported it plans to create more offshore wind farms in Poland in the future, which will further benefit the environment, job market, and economy. Thank you, RWE Renewables, and great job on your new Polish windfarm. May such green initiatives bloom in every corner of our world and combine with the vegan lifestyle to create an idyllic home for all beings.

Scientists restore movement and feeling to man’s arm.

Dr. Patrick Ganzer and co-researchers from Battelle in Columbus, United States have restored motion and the sensation of touch to a man who could not previously use his arm due to a spinal cord injury. The scientists used Brain Computer Interface technology to intercept signals from the brain and send them to the arm. To restore the sensation of touch, they amplified the existing signals in the brain that were not strong enough to be recognized and fed them back to his forearm. For movement, nerves in the forearm were stimulated. Such hope-filled news, Dr. Patrick Ganzer and co-researchers, on your project to restore movement and touch. May such discoveries lead us to an innovation that allows all people to fully use their bodies, in Heaven’s radiance.

Singaporean doctor changes lives of Afghan youth.

Dr. Wee Teck Young, a medical doctor with a master’s degree in Family Medicine from the National University of Singapore, has been working with youth to promote equality and peace in conflict-affected areas since joining humanitarian efforts in Pakistan in 2002. Later he moved to Kabul, Afghanistan where he founded the nonprofit organization Afghan Peace Volunteers. The group is dedicated to building harmonious relationships with the earth and all human beings, and has been running a winter duvet project, local cycling club, peace conferences, worker co-operatives and a food bank for street children. The Borderfree Afghan Street Kids School was also established to help vulnerable youngsters develop life and communication skills. Dr. Wee was honored with the 2012 International Pfeffer Peace Award. We are touched by your altruistic humanitarian efforts, Dr. Wee Teck Young. May your vision of a peaceful and green world soon be realized in the overflowing love of the Providence.

Coming up, Australian vegan food producer develops extensive range to meet demand for plant-based protein. It’s time for us to send a prayer of protection for all the courageous firefighters. More outstanding news coming up on Supreme Master Television.

Welcome back to Noteworthy News – Gracious News for a Splendid World.

Australian vegan brand expands as demand for plant-based food surges during COVID-19 lockdown.

Made With Plants improved and expanded their product range during the lockdown, selling 86,000 product units in the first week of their release, despite the company’s ability to conduct tastings and negotiations being affected due to coronavirus restrictions. Their offerings now include dairy-free cream cheese, plant-based bacon, meatloaf, mince, ready-made meals and more. The brand, which was launched in September 2019, is available in Woolworths supermarkets around the country. Speaking of the company’s success, co-founder Cale Drouin explained, “Health incidents such as COVID-19 will prompt more Australians to think about where their food comes from, and we’re already seeing a renewed demand for plant-based proteins worldwide.” Congratulations, Cale Drouin and Made With Plants, for your successful launch and product growth. May your delicious items soon become a staple in all Australian households as the nation shifts to the safest and kindest method of nourishment, the plant-based way.

American state outlaws wildlife killing contests.

The Colorado Parks and Wildlife Commission has declared a ban on the cruel competitive slaughter of wild animals throughout the state. Notably, the prohibition will save many species including mink, pine marten, badger, fox, skunk, beaver, muskrat, weasel, coyote, bobcat, opossum, ring-tailed cat, raccoon, squirrel and Gunnison’s prairie dogs,. Joining Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion laureates, Arizona, California, Massachusetts, New Mexico, and Vermont, Colorado becomes the sixth American state to ban these inhumane, unsporting and wasteful events that also adversely affect healthy ecosystems. California is also a Shining World Leadership Award for Protection Laureate. Applauding Colorado’s life-protecting order, Lindsay Larris, Wildlife Program Director of WildEarth Guardians, said, “The majority of Coloradans respect and value wildlife, and this step forward by our state wildlife department is in line with those values.” We are overcome with gratitude, Colorado. May this important ban be enacted nationwide and globally, as we protect innocent and defenseless animals, in God’s mercy. Master Ching Hai: “Gratefully present the Shining World Leadership Award for Compassion to Colorado, with high esteem, praises, respect and gratitude. May your beautiful state be always blessed in Heaven’s eternal grace and protection.”

Laughter is contagious, so share the fun with the joke of the day entitled, “Engineering Task. Two engineering students were tasked by their professor to find the height of a flagpole. The first student quickly took a wrench, loosened a couple of bolts, and laid the pole down on the ground. Then using a tape measure, took a measurement and announced:

“21.6 meters.”

The other student shook his head and said:

“That’s no use. The professor asked for the height, not the length!”
