An Experience in Cosmic Consciousness: Selections from Autobiography of a Yogi by Paramahansa Yogananda, Part 1 of 2

Since its first publication in 1944, the book “Autobiography of a Yogi” has inspired countless Truth seekers around the world. In particular, it was through this book, originally written in English, that many Westerners were introduced to the teachings of meditation and Kriya Yoga. The autobiography contains the exceptional life story of the renowned Indian yogi and enlightened Master Paramahansa Yogananda, who was born in 1893. “What one does not trouble to find within will not be discovered by transporting the body hither and yon. As soon as the devotee is willing to go even to the ends of the earth for spiritual enlightenment, his guru appears nearby.” “An oceanic joy broke upon calm endless shores of my soul. The Spirit of God, I realized, is exhaustless Bliss; His body is countless tissues of light.”

Prophecy of the Golden Age Part 139 - The Return of the King

“WHEN THE DIFFICULT TIME COMES, STOP EATING FLESH LIKE MONSTERS, STOP DESTROYING NATURE; STOP TORTURING ANIMAL BEINGS. RESORT TO EATING PLANTS, WATER AND AIR. THEY WILL LET YOU OVERCOME THAT TIME.”Last week, we began to explore a most fascinating prophecy made by Genghis Khan, the Beloved Supreme King of the Mongols, eight centuries ago about our current period. According to the text titled “The Secret of the Golden Melody,” Genghis Khan urged His future descendants to look for an enlightened Master whose name is “Ching.” She would impart the highest Method of rejoining with Heaven, thus many people would follow the path of “the Golden Melody and Light”! This, of course, is the Quan Yin Method of meditation on the inner Heavenly Sound and Light! From the evidence we have found in previous episodes, we believe that Genghis Khan actually had foreseen His own return as our Most Loving Master: Supreme Master Ching Hai would come at this special time of unprecedented open disclosure of this secret Method, in order to lead humanity into the Golden Age! In this book, Genghis Khan told us that the highest knowledge is knowing yourself within and from inside. The book titled “The Secret of the Golden Melody” is a documentation of Genghis Khan’s teachings, which were transmitted orally over 15-plus generations by the Blue Dogs Clan of Mongolia. Realizing that the time had come to reveal the teachings, the Clan eventually entrusted poet and author Khureltogoo Banzai to record and publish the book, which has been enthusiastically received since its first print in 2003. Some years later, Khureltogoo Banzai learned about Supreme Master Ching Hai and became Her disciple. “(Unless humans get enlightened sooner, the likelihood that they might destroy the planet Earth is becoming very high. Therefore, this book had a purpose, what is that purpose? This book talks about the methodology to enlighten people and get them out of suffering. When the time came that people finally understood that we all have one Earth and we need to get enlightened in order to live peacefully, the enlightened Master came down proclaiming, ‘Greetings, my children.’ This Master is Supreme Master Ching Hai.)”In “The Secret of the Golden Melody,” Genghis Khan gave instructions not only for saving our souls, but also for rescuing our world from self-destruction in the present age. “WHEN THE DIFFICULT TIME COMES, STOP EATING FLESH LIKE MONSTERS, STOP DESTROYING NATURE; STOP TORTURING ANIMAL BEINGS. RESORT TO EATING PLANTS, WATER AND AIR. THEY WILL LET YOU OVERCOME THAT TIME.” Wow!!! The Great Khan’s words then and Master’s words now are very much the same and unmistakably clear, simple, direct − and vital. They both instruct us to stop three things at this dangerous time for our world: First, to “STOP EATING FLESH LIKE MONSTERS.” Second, to “STOP DESTROYING NATURE.” And third, to “STOP TORTURING ANIMAL BEINGS.” “All killing, torturing, humans or animals, must stop. All deforestation, harming the environment and destroying the trees – all that has to stop.”“We must stop the killing of the sentient beings, whether directly or indirectly. Directly means like the butcher, the people who raise livestock for meat. Indirectly are the consumers, the ones who buy meat to encourage this practice to go further.”“If we don’t eliminate meat consumption, we could never reach even a low impact on the environment, no matter what else we do. We must stop the most inefficient, unsustainable, life-destroying practice of murdering animals and stop it now. Stop it yesterday.”“If humans do not change into a more compassionate way of life, then we have to keep hunting, catching viruses forever. (Oh.) Nowadays we have how many already? Always new. You saw that? (Yes.) We defeat one, or maybe not even defeated, and another one comes already. It’s more powerful than the last. (Yes.) So the only way is that you have to live like humans, not like beasts. Eating bleeding flesh, dripping-blood flesh just to keep yourself alive. We don’t have to do that to be alive.”Genghis Khan also instructed that humans must “RESORT TO EATING PLANTS, WATER AND AIR” because these are the only effective means that “WILL LET YOU OVERCOME THAT TIME.”“We have enough with problem, but we have solutions to this problem. It might not be that early, but it’s still not too late, we still can rescue our home, planet home. Number one solution is vegan, organic vegan. Veganism will save our world.Adopting a plant-based diet can halt as much as 80% of global warming, eradicate world hunger, stop war, promote peace, and it will free up the Earth’s water as well as many other precious resources, offering a lifeline for the planet and for humanity. In short, it will very quickly halt many of the global problems facing us right now.”Elsewhere in “The Secret of the Golden Melody,” Genghis Khan said: “Food for humans is plants and vegetables, water, white food, and air.”Plants, vegetables, water, air, and “white food,” meaning dairy products: These are the foods that Genghis Khan, who Himself was a benevolent vegetarian, recommended. While forbidding meat, He allowed dairy products because normally in Mongolia’s nomadic custom, milk has been taken in a way that does not harm the animals.Following the global trend, the descendants of Genghis Khan, especially the youth, are increasingly choosing vegetarian and vegan diets for ethical, health and environmental reasons. Around 30 vegan cafés and restaurants across three major cities and 18 towns offer diverse, nutritious and organic vegan dishes for customers. In addition, over the past decade, several vegan food producers have emerged in Mongolia. These companies have developed plant-based versions of traditional cuisine, plus new recipes including some inspired by favorites from other cultures.Mongolian people are also becoming more compassionate and protective of animals. Not only do they treat their animal companions lovingly as family members, activists are also speaking out for the defenseless. For example, a group of young people are currently advocating for a ban on eating horse meat, on the grounds that horses have always been a trusted friend of the Mongolian people. One young man in particular, our Association member, set up a sanctuary for horses rescued from slaughter, which has received overwhelming support from the public.A significant contributor to this vegan trend in Mongolia has been the loving, positive influence from Supreme Master Ching Hai in Mongolia. Over the years, Master has spoken with Mongolian government and society leaders through a number of conferences and letters. She also inspired our Mongolian Association members to establish Loving Hut vegan restaurants and spread the vegan message in their own capacities.Among their many activities, our Association members have been forming non-profits and working with the Mongolian government as well as farmers to promote organic vegan farming. These efforts successfully led to the government passing its first law to support organic farming in 2017. Our Association members also launched the website vegan.mn to provide fellow Mongolians with various resources to be vegan. From State Parliament members to religious leaders and the average citizen, many Mongolians know about Supreme Master Ching Hai and deeply respect Her and Her peace message. “(Dear Master, I’m really joyful and grateful to be here, knowing Your compassionate and humanitarian work.)” “(On behalf of Mongolia’s population of 2,700,000, I feel very privileged and blessed that I am one of the persons who can contact You right now.)” “(From now on, we should follow what Master has suggested to us.)” “(Supreme Master Ching Hai is especially doing very noble, good activities.)” “(What shall we do to be so nice like Supreme Master Ching Hai? What do we have to do to have this kind of situation?)” “(I think it’s a great honor for me that I am living in the same era when Grand Master lives.)” “(Be Veg, Go Green 2 Save the Planet!)” Etc…Thus, it is encouraging to see an unstoppable movement under way that is helping Mongolia (and our world at large) to fulfill the instruction and prophecy of the Great Genghis Khan. “(Dear Most Beloved Master, I would like to extend my warmest greetings to Master, Tim Qo Tu. I had a vision that when You came to Earth as the Great Chinggis Khaan [Genghis Khan], You used the Power of Melody and the Power of Heavens, not weapons and armies, to bring much needed peace and unity among nations immersed in endless war and bloodshed. You have left Your message in ‘The Secret Golden Melody’ to be kept secret for eight hundred years, and entrusted the clan of the Blue Dogs people to pass it down for 15 generations and disclose it when the time comes, when people reach the edge of destroying their Mother Earth. Chinggis Khaan commanded that in order to get out of darkness, we must meditate with the Golden Light and Melody, and in the Power of the Immortal Blue Sky and Heavens, eat vegetables created for us, and that this is the only gateway out of the cycle of sins. Many thousands of people from Mongolia have gotten initiation from Supreme Master Ching Hai and are practicing the Light and Sound Method. I was fortunate to be one of those, and received initiation on April 4, 2004 with 44 others. Since I got initiated and became pure vegan, I have been blessed by Master and saved from many hardships in my life. I have been saved from mountain floods, saved from being run over by motorcycles, and cured of my illnesses. I have witnessed how the [inner] Light that Master opened for me was leading the way to Heavens and enlightenment.I would like to ask Most Beloved Master to enlighten us and decode for us “The Secret of the Golden Melody.” I pray every day for the Most Loved and Cherished Master to be always happy and healthy, and all Her loving wishes for the planet Earth and humanity to be realized. Respectfully, Your disciple Zagar.)”We are deeply grateful to the Extraordinary Divine Being, whom humankind has had the privilege to know as Genghis Khan in the past, and as Supreme Master Ching Hai in the present day. We pray that humanity will be awakened by Their life- and soul-saving instruction to be vegan, first, and also join the liberating spiritual path of the Golden Melody. May the Savior King always be protected as She protects and sustains our world with Her Divine Power and the Power of the Immortal Blue Sky.“(From the Holy land of Gods You have descended, Blessing our destiny (Like this.) You have bestowed lullaby melodies upon us You are loving us With the golden teaching of Truth, You are gracing the multitude With the purest heart of Yours From the Holy land of Gods You have descended, Blessing our destiny You have bestowed lullaby melodies upon us.)”

The Story of Master Confucius and Xiang Tuo, Part 1 of 13

The Story of Master Confucius and Xiang Tuo, Part 1 of 13

I mean, how many more governors do they want to kick out? How many good ones that they want to kick out? First, it’s Cuomo for falling in love with some girls or one girl at a time. And now it’s Newsom. I think because they miss President Trump. They are used to kicking him. Now they’ve kicked him out already, they’re finding some other target just to make trouble. (Hallo, Master!) Hi guys! Today, bedtime story again. Unless you have some urgent question or something before, life and death, before you die. Any urgent question? (Yes, Master.) You do? Oh. (I have an urgent question, please.) Oh. Sure, sure. OK. We do that first because mostly questions are a problem. Like in Chinese, the word question is “wenti”, meaning problem. So we take care of the problem first. And then afterward, I will read you the story and then you can go sleep peacefully. OK. Tell me, my love. (Yes, Master. There have been some recent developments in the United States with the California Governor, the Honorable Gavin Newsom. All the voters, the California voters want to remove him from office.) All the voters? (Well, many, many voters) OK. You cannot say “all.” (want to remove him from... Yes, I’m sorry.) My God! Some are smarter. (Master, we researched his record as governor and did not understand why some want him out. It seems like he has done many good things while in office for the state.) OK. (For example, for COVID-related things, Governor Newsom: - Signed a $2.6 billion bill to extend a moratorium on renter evictions and provide rent relief.) Yes. (- Signed a US$7.6 billion economic stimulus package, including: US$2 billion in small business relief grants, and US$600 stimulus checks for 5.7 million low-income citizens.) Wow! (For the animals, he: - Signed bills making California the first state to ban the sale and manufacture of new fur products.) Wow! (- Signed a bill to bar most animals from circus performances. - A wildlife crossing is to be built over a major Southern Californian highway. The fundraising has reached US$18 million.) Woah. Just for the wild animals? (Yes, Master.) Wow. What a good guy! (- He launched Project Roomkey, which has moved more than 22,000 people from the streets and shelters into motel rooms during the COVID pandemic. So the advocates for the homeless say the program largely succeeded.) (- He also signed the Families Over Fees Act to end the collection of criminal administrative fees like probation fees and fees for public defenders.) Oh, very compassionate guy. (Yes, Master.) Very caring and loving. (The bill will lift an estimated US$16 billion of largely uncollectible debt from low-income communities.) Woah. (So Master, with all these things, and other things that he’s done, is it a good idea for the people to try to recall him? What do You think, Master?) No, not good. It would be a big mistake because I don’t know if they can find somebody as good as he. For what you have read just now… You from California? (Yes, Master.) Oh, yeah. I know you were in California before, so you’re concerned about your state. He’s very good, is very good. He’s a good boy. We should keep him, forever. (Yes, Master.) He really cares. He really cares. So, my God, all for the poor people, and the helpless people and the vulnerable people and the safety of the animals. I mean, what more can you ask from a governor or anyone who is in power in the government? (Yes, Master.) So, why do they want to get rid of him? Who did? Why? It must be somebody who doesn’t like Democrats again. (The voters didn’t like the way he handled the COVID situation.) Like what? (He was very strict in closing schools and businesses,) Yes. (so that made those businesses very angry. He had a very slow vaccine roll out.) Closed down and mask and stuff like that. (Yes, Master.) And then slow in rolling out the vaccine. What else? (He also attended a restaurant party for a lobbyist while the state was in lockdown. So people thought that was not fair.) Oh, wow. From what I know, many other government officials, big-time, they also did that. Like the Scottish first minister, for example. (Yes, Master.) And they did not want to fire her, just for that. They just criticized and then she said “I know that was stupid.” Something like that. “I am kicking myself. And I am sorry.” That’s it and they forgave her. (Yes.) And she’s bigger than Newsom. (Yes, Master.) I mean, how many more governors do they want to kick out? How many good ones that they want to kick out? First, it’s Cuomo for falling in love with some girls or one girl at a time. And now it’s Newsom. I think because they miss President Trump. They are used to kicking him. Now they’ve kicked him out already, they’re finding some other target just to make trouble. (Yes, Master.) Even if Mr. Newsom made a mistake by going to a party, one time, just one time, they could just criticize him, scold him, and then let him continue to do his work. Because I am not sure if you can find any other governor as good as he. (Wow!) Applaud for him. But to tell you the truth, if they fire him, it is also OK, so he can take a rest also. But that would be a big mistake – much, much, much, way, way, way, way, thousand times bigger than his little wrong decision at that time. It’s a small mistake. It’s difficult to refuse your friend. Especially when that friend has been with you a long time and helping you a lot. Helping him, meaning helping his people. (Yes, Master.) The Scottish first minister just said, sorry, she’s kicking herself. That’s all she said. And then it’s OK. And then there is another… Maybe somebody knows? Who was it? Some other Australian? Somebody tell me, please? (Well, in the UK, Mr. Boris Johnson,) Yeah. (he’s also facing a big problem) Yeah. (because he is also very strict with COVID-19.) Yes. (He was spotted riding a bike) Outside. (while outside of his local area.) Poor guy, he should cover himself, go into an all-blackened car with a driver. (Yes, Master.) He needed some fresh air and a little exercise. My God! You have no idea. No people have any idea how stressful it is to be a prime minister or a governor for that reason. (Yes, Master.) If he just goes on a bike and not meeting and talking to anybody, my God, forgive the guy. For God’s sake. He does so many good things for his country. (Yes, Master.) He did many, many great things for his country, and also he continues doing. I know people criticize him, but they do anyway – the opposition or just some people who are looking for hair-splitting. Wait until they become prime minister, and they do even worse things. I guarantee. (Yes, Master.) All right. And any others who flout? (Well, in New Zealand, there’s the Health Minister David Clark.) Yes? (During a very strict national lockdown, he was caught also mountain biking) Bike? (as well as taking his family to the beach. And so, the New Zealand public was outraged. The Health Minister resigned [in part], as a result of that.) Oh, man. If you have children, what to do. Children, they just have a way to cry, to beg, to look at you with the eyes like the world will be going if you don’t take them to the beach or to Cancún or whatever, like Senator Cruz. Poor people, I mean, poor these officials. They shouldn’t have done that. They should have been more strong and hard with the children, but you know what it’s like having children. They could ask for the moon and you would give in. I think most of them, I think the ones who flout, it’s because of family, these officials in England or Australia, or New Zealand, whatever. Because of family. It is the same with Senator Cruz from Texas. (Yes, Master.) It’s all because of children and family, or wife. They’re begging, they’re playing this tantrum or silent treatment until the guy can bear no more. Then he has to give in. I just feel so sorry for them. Between the country and the family, it’s very difficult to decide. Like me also, I miss my dogs so much because of their loving and comforting nature. (Yes, Master.) In the family, there’s always give and take, and the guys are mostly working away, and then now and then, if they ask just for one that… they say, “Just one thing and you don’t do it for us. You don’t love us.” “If you love us, you would do this, do that.” (Yes, Master.) And the guy is like twisted around their fingers. (Yes, Master.)

Parents Are the Best Gift on This Planet, Part 5 of 5

How strange! Why? Why can’t you see enough of me? (We love You. You are our Master.) You don’t have to see Master. (Because You are our Master, that’s why we want to see You.) There are many masters outside. If you want to see a master, you can... (Our Master is the most beautiful.) Thank you, thank you. I go upstairs. OK. Let’s go upstairs. Don’t look at this. Go! New or old people, go, go, go, go. Go up there. I’m coming in five minutes. You guys have work at home, or you want to go up? Any urgent job? Can go up if you want. You want to go up-up? Go, go. Or you put your things anywhere. You guys want to go up-up? (Yes, Master.) Or you have to go home urgently? Can go up. No eat? (Keep it as a midnight snack.) OK. (We eat what’s served on the spot.) You’re welcome. Camera. Thank you. It’s delicious. Thanks a lot. (Thank You, Master.) For everyone. (Thank You, Master.) One for each person. (OK. Be careful.) We might as well give it to people on this side. (Be careful.) (Thank You.) They’ve lined up. We will give it out. (Thank You.) (Thank You, Master.) You’ll have it. Slowly. Take it easy. (Thank You, Master.) Whatever we have. (OK. Thank You, Master.) I don’t mean to give you the food unevenly. They just stick together and I can’t help it. (OK.) (Thank You, Master.) Wish you safety, peace and happiness. (Thank You, Master.) Be carefree physically and mentally. Get liberation soon. (Thank You.) There’s more. (OK.) This will also do. (This will also do. OK.) Come, those who haven’t got it. (Thank You, Master.) Those who haven’t got it, come over. (Thank You, Master.) Those who’ve eaten can also come. (We’ve all eaten.) (Thank You, Master.) You’re welcome. You’ve got it? (Yes. We’ve all had it.) Thank you. (Master, we don’t have it here.) OK. (We don’t have it here.) Not yet? (Thank You, Master.) How pitiful. (Thank You.) How pitiful. Come, come. (Thank You, Master.) What do you have? You drop everything just for eating. (Yes, I have it. Thank You, Master.) Just a symbol… (Thank You, Master.) Have you got it? (Yes. Thank You.) Have you eaten it? (Yes.) Oh, so fast. OK, that’ll do. (Thank You, Master.) Is there anyone who doesn’t have it? Oh, this person. No one gave you anything. (Thank You, Master.) Just a symbol. Thank you. No, no. There’re still more. (Still more.) OK. (Thank You, Master.) Good job. Thank you. OK. Eat it if you want. OK. I will go wash my hands and brush my teeth. Then I have to go upstairs to work. You have your work, and I have mine. (OK.) And then sleep. Be careful. (OK.) Thank you, everyone. Good. This is good. (Thank You, Master.) Simple but nice. It’s simple but nice. Some people didn’t know. Thank you. (Bye, Master. Thank You, Master.) Do all of you have it? (Yes.) Did they give you something to eat? (Yes, thank You, Master.) Do you have it, brother? I didn’t give it to him? Put it down. (Yes, Master.) (I have it, thank You.) Oh, never mind, it’s OK. (Thank You, Master.) Do you have it? (Yes.) It’s for fun, not that we have to have it. Thank you everyone for your hard work. Thank you. Thanks. Bye-bye. (Thank You, Master.) Thank you. Tough guy. Oh, very good. I didn’t know that. (Thank You, Master.) Thank you, thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank You. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for your love. Thank you. (Hallo, Master.) Hallo. (Hallo, Master.) You aren’t going upstairs, old man? Go upstairs. What language does he speak? He doesn’t understand? You take him to the fourth floor, OK? (OK.) One of the guards. Take him to the foreigner’s group. I can answer his questions by the way. Thank you. Very good. Oh! How dare she compete with me, look. Her car is faster than mine. (Thank You, Master.) Watch out for the car. Never get tired of looking? Be careful, you guys. Watch your feet. Did you see that? I am not good at driving, as I told you. Have you seen me already? (Hallo, Master.) (Thank You, Master.) (Hallo, Master.) Monks can go upstairs if they want. Koreans can go up. Can go up. Somebody help translate. You translate English? English? No. OK. No, no. Hallo, everybody. Got you. I am not good at driving. I told you not to stick around. Yet, you still do. (Master drives very well.) (Hallo, Master.) Hallo. (Master has good skill.) Thanks a lot. Don’t kneel, it hurts. Stand up please. (Master, I love You.) Thank you. You can’t even see me on your knees, can you? Thank you. Love you. (Thank You, Master.) Love you. I like your hair. Never get tired of seeing me, no need to... Why do you bother to see me when you can never get enough? (We cannot see enough of You.) You see me today, and tomorrow you’ll want to see again. So, don’t worry about it. No need to see me again. (Master knows us too well.) No need to see me. Just like you eat today, but you’ll be hungry again tomorrow. Why bother eating? (It’s different.) It’s troublesome. Life is troublesome. Old beauty. Not bad, huh? (You are beautiful, very beautiful.) (Very young, too.) You think I believe what you say? (Yes!) (Because Master is forever young.) You think I’m a kid and I believe everything you say? I have a mirror! I can see myself. (We would like to see a beautiful Master.) OK, thank you. There’s a bright light over here, you can see me well. Are you short-stays? (Yes.) (We’re leaving tomorrow.) Tomorrow you are leaving. Bless you. (It’s true. It’s not easy for us to come because we are older.) I see. Are you older than me? (I’m really older than You.) I am already many millions of years old. Who is she? That’s nothing. Don’t say old. Say young. (It says in the rule, that older people are not allowed to come, starting December 1.) Who doesn’t allow you to come? (You said that those overage will not be allowed to come.) Huh? (Over the age limit. Even those with company are not allowed to come.) (Seventy years old.) Who said you cannot come? (It says so.) It says so? (Starting December 1, even overage people with company are not allowed to come.) (They cannot come in winter.) It’s too cold in winter. Come again in summer. Come again in a few months. Yes. (OK, thank You, Master.) Summer is fine. Spring and summer are fine. I’m afraid it’s too hard for you. (OK, thank You, Master.) Being old and having aches. (We want to see Master.) I know. But you look like you’re having back pain. Why the hardship? You can come in summer, OK? (OK, thank You, Master.) They need to take care of you because they’re worried that you can’t stand it. (Master, if I am physically capable, can I come?) Huh? (OK.) (If I am physically capable, can I come? I’m 69.) Sixty-nine cannot come already? (I will be 70 in 2020. Can I come? Master, because I have a one-year multiple-entry visa, which is due in March. It would be a pity if I could not come. I cannot come after March. It’s a multiple-entry Free- Independent Traveler visa.) If you are still alive at that time, then we will talk about it. We don’t even know what will happen tomorrow, and you are asking me? Even if I promise you now, they won’t recognize you when you come. (Yes.) Maybe a long beard grows out or something. Then they’d say, “No, Master meant someone else.” We grow old fast. Oh my God. So many short-stays? Or Taiwanese (Formosan)? (There are also Taiwanese [Formosan]. Some are Taiwanese [Formosan].) (We are from the mainland.) Taiwanese (Formosan) cheated; they stay behind. They share the benefit from the mainlanders. That’s how they can stay. (Yes.) And I have to see them too. I’m going to work. (OK. Thank You, Master.) Thank you for your love. (Thank You for Your love.) I don’t know. I just gave you initiation. How do I love you if I don’t know you? I don’t know any of you. Who are you? Kid, I’m sorry that you cannot go upstairs. They can after they grow up a little bit. It’s OK after six years. Six more years, very soon. Look how fast it is. I was young and beautiful when I first came to Taiwan (Formosa). Look at me now. (You are still beautiful.) Many wrinkles. (Master is forever 18 years old.) (Yes.) You haven’t kept the Five Precepts clearly. (Master is truly forever young.) Looking from a distance, yes, of course. (Really, Master hasn’t changed in 30 years. It’s the same every time I look at You. I love You.) It sounds nice. You haven’t kept the Five Precepts well. I need to go take care of the new initiates upstairs. (OK.) Some of you can’t see me, I’m sorry. I’m not going to grow any taller. I also find it strange that God didn’t choose a taller person. Then I wouldn’t need to sit on a stage or anything like that. I could stand anywhere and be taller. Then everybody could see me better. Kids, sorry, I have to go to work now. The kids can come upstairs later, OK? Now it’s different. Soon... Eat more and grow up quickly. Then you can go upstairs. Bye-bye. Thank you. Be good. (Thank You, Master.) Be good, kids. For the kids, not for you. OK, thank you. (Thank You, Master.) Some of you cannot see me. I know. But I can’t help it. Right. I can’t help it. Can you see me now? Yes. Poor people. Taiwanese (Formosan) have no excuses. You’ve seen me for hundreds of years, many decades. (But we can never see enough of You.) How strange. Why? (I love You, Master.)

Parents Are the Best Gift on This Planet, Part 4 of 5

(Master, I just wanted to tell You that we are very, very grateful to be part of Your family. And this is really like a dream. Very much like a dream.) You enjoy yeah? (Yes. Thanks a lot. Thank You.) Good. Good. I’m glad. I’m glad. (Vegan) Apple pie, only I have? You don’t have? (Do we have more [vegan] apple pie?) (There are some more.) Don’t other people have this? (There are more. Some have [vegan] scones. Master, some have [vegan] apple pies and some have [vegan] scones. There are two kinds.) OK. Thank you. You want some? You want? Today you eat everything. They are happy when she’s not here. I don’t know why; I always give her a lot of things. And they are shy, they don’t look and I forget. Today she is not here, I remember they exist. You take some back for some of the girls. Do you have a meal box? (Yes.) (This is water snowflake vegetable.) One more. Wow! Very delicious. Thank you very much. Do the monks have enough food? (We have enough.) The two of them have nothing to eat? Take it over there. (Master, we have enough.) One piece for each person. Just for fun. Did I give you this? No? You guys can share. Can share. This one is for you guys to share. Very little, sorry. (Yes, Master.) Break it, like that. Anyone who wants to break it? One, two, three, zack! It’s OK. Eat it, eat it, don’t worry. Take this and share with the kitchen, OK? (OK.) Kitchen. (OK. Thank You, Master.) Delicious! It is very delicious. (Do You want some more, Master?) Can I? (Yes, there is a lot.) No. This is for you. (There’s a lot. OK, I’ll get some more.) You are hungry still? Don’t be shy. She is easy to take care of, she eats anything. You brought her up well. Not picky. Oh, I have to go upstairs. (Master, I just wanted to tell You that despite all the things that You said, and all the things that You are not satisfied (with), but we are very, very grateful to be part of Your family. And this is really like a dream. Very much like a dream.) You enjoy yeah? (Yes. Thanks a lot. Thank You.) Good. Good. I’m glad. I’m glad. Now you remind me I had to go upstairs soon, quickly and go! You guys can go, don’t have to wait for me. I have to take care of the new people. (Master, this vegan kimchi is very delicious.) Oh, delicious. Kimchi? So special. (Kimchi with steamed glutinous rice.) No wonder. The glutinous rice makes it different. Is it something special of Taoyuan? Specialty of Taoyuan? (Taoyuan.) Specialty. (Yes.) I’ve never tasted this kind of food before in other places. (Yes.) Can you eat this type of thing? Agar-agar. No? (I don’t know.) For fun. Not much. Oh, they bring again. I know it! (A jelly made from luffa gourd.) Thanks a lot. You’re very generous. The two of you haven’t eaten yet. That guard hasn’t eaten yet. I have one piece here left. Did you eat? Go eat. OK. You eat every week. Did you eat diligently even when I was not here? So fortunate. What a good life! The kitchen team treats you so nicely, that you’ve become attached to them. Have you? When we go upstairs, it’s not too noisy, you can tell me again. (Yes, OK. I just said that we are very grateful and happy. We are happy to be a part of Your family.) Oh! (And we love You.) “And we love You,” I hear that. That - no need translation. Thank you. We are going up soon. You guys eat… (Are You getting a massage after that? A massage. Are You getting a lot of Thai massage?) Massage! (Yes!) No, no. I am very ticklish. (Oh.) Thank you. (You’re welcome.) Everybody is dying to massage me. I always say, “No, no, no, no.” Sensitive. Cheers! (Dear Master. It was a long time ago I came to see You. It was 2006) Oh. (that last I saw You. Do You permit me to come with them? Can I come with them, sit with them, with new initiates? Can I come?) Yeah, sure. (Yeah? Thank You.) Can do. (Thank You.) This is also very good. They keep bringing, so I have to eat something. Did you eat this? Good? Want some more? Yes? No? No? (I’ll take it.) You are learning. Good, come. Good disciple. (Thank You, Master.) There, all mine now. Want some? Here. This is so small. I’m worried it’ll run down the side. What’s that? I try to get rid of it, it comes more. You guys still want to eat it, That is sweet potato. The Latin Americans, they like them. That’s why I give you the whole thing. He’s behind you. Latin Americans, they like sweet potato. This is new. Sure you don’t want some? (I’ll try it.) You’re so shy! Why are you so shy? You should stay and then you’ll learn something. In the Ashram, if you are shy, everybody else wants it. Right? Want some? Sure. Very good. Tell me about your country. They have an ocean? Or inland? (Pardon, Master?) You have sea around? (No.) Water? (But not in Ludhiana, not in Punjab, but in India there is.) Yeah, I know. I know. (Yes, but not in Punjab.) Not where you live, right? (No, no.) Oh, I like the ocean. I don’t know why. Wow, more food! Tastes good. Yum, yum, yum, yum. I like this one. I like this one. This one. I like the gourd. Anybody else want, raise hand. Take some! One person, come here. You didn’t have enough? You want some more food? You are still hungry? If you are, you go ask the kitchen for more. They have some. I just like this, like an appetizer. Good? No need. (It’s all right. It’s just a little bit. Master hasn’t eaten any.) Yes, I ate a lot already, and you still keep serving. Thank you. You need something more? (It’s OK.) Eat for fun if you can. If you have any problem, you tell the... whoever is responsible here. Any group will take you to the doctor. We have a doctor in the house. And I told her to stay here to take care of you, so she’s here 24/7. Good idea. It’s for the kitchen. Put them together for the kitchen team. I don’t want to go to work. I want to sit here, eat. Seems like a good job. Sit here, everybody loves you and you eat. Oh, good job. Why go anywhere else? We have translation. Look. Korean, no? Ah! Chinese. Chinese only. Good, good. Only for translation into Chinese? You want a banana? (I ate already one banana.) Have more. Because you only have fruit, you didn’t eat other things. Good. I feel embarrassed now to stay here, so I have to go. Go upstairs. OK. Let’s go upstairs.

God is Nature, Knowing God is Happiness: Excerpts from the Writings of Hryhorii Skovoroda (vegetarian), Part 2 of 2

Three days prior to his death, Skovoroda went to stay with one of his closest friends. Each day he left the house, and it was discovered that he was digging his own burial place beneath a tree. On the third day, he announced that his time had come, and he simply lay down and passed away. At his request, his epitaph said, “The world tried to capture me, but didn’t succeed.” In recognition of his wo

The Art of Ice Sculpting

Sculpting is the art of creating a three-dimensional visual object by carving or modeling in stone, metal, ceramics, wood or even ice and snow. Sculptures made from ice are less permanent and can remain robust and intact for minutes to months depending on the ambient temperature. Because these works of art are short-lived, they are very precious. The history of ice carving goes as far back

Parents Are the Best Gift on This Planet, Part 3 of 5

I am from the Giri tradition. (OK.) The oldest tradition of monkhood in India. (Yes.) Giri. (Giri.) From Patanjali, you know? (OK.) Old, old, old monk tradition, but not official. Just one Indian monk blessed me into the order of Indian Giri tradition, but not like I have a paper or anything. Thirty some years ago. Forty, thirty years ago.I love America. (They love You too.) I’m just too tired now. If I go there, I have to either marry or do something in order to stay. I’m not American. (You are!) Honorary citizen. (Yes, that means You are.) Many times, but officially you have to be American or married or naturalized or do something to stay in America. (Oh no. No. Honorary - You are. We can take care of that. Don’t worry. They honor You. That’s an honor for them.) I know, but... (that You are an American citizen and You can come and live there.) I know, but to be… To stay in America, you have to have an official passport. (I’m sure if You decided to come there and stay there, they’re going to make everything ready for You.) Ah! You think like that? (Of course!) That’s what you think! (Really? I’ll marry You. That’s what people do for love.) Thank you, thank you. Nowadays, you can. Yes. Yes. Nowadays, it’s legal to marry the same sex. No problem. They will question me why I came all the way from Taiwan (Formosa) just to marry you. (No, I can just…or I’ll figure out.) They will think it’s a fake. There are many countries I could stay. Many. America is one that I like. (And You know how everything is, the situation in America I am sure if You could live there, that would be a great help. Actually, all over the world. And I’m sure that all over the world they need You. People, they love You there.) I know. Tell that to the Taiwanese (Formosan). (Tell to who? Taiwanese [Formosan]? Oh, yes. Sure. Everybody. Everybody loves You.) Tell this to the Aulacese (Vietnamese), to the Taiwanese (Formosan), to the Mongolians, to the Koreans, to the... etc. (Yes. I know.) There is a prediction that I should stay in Taiwan (Formosa), so I have a good excuse to stay here. (I see.) Anybody want something? Oh, careful. (Please, Master. We are here to request You to come to India.) What? I know the... The Mongolians say the same, the Koreans say the same, the Chinese say the same, the Aulacese (Vietnamese)... Oh, they keep pressuring me, pressuring me all the time. (But India really wants You.) I love India. Believe it. (Yes.) Believe it or not. I love India. Sometimes I still think about that. (Oh, You should. You should make it a future tense.) How do I stay there? (We’ll arrange, Master, if You come.) You can arrange? (We have three Centers there.) Oh, I can go there and work for you, right? (Yes.) A working permit, right? (Yes.) Good idea, otherwise, I don’t need. I just shave my head or grow a beard and wear a saffron (robe) and I just go anywhere, nobody checks, nothing. In India, they don’t check you. If you are a sadhu, they don’t check. (Yes.) (Yes.) Good idea. (Thank You. Thank You, Master.) I forgot that. If I come, I just tell you to prepare me a few saffron robes and then that’s it. I stay anywhere, nobody asks you anything. Right? (Yes.) In India, if the sadhu doesn’t do anything, they never ask for your passport. Sadhus don’t have any passport. They have only a staff, a jug for water, that’s all. (Now everything has changed, Master. Now, everything has changed, Master.) Oh, yeah? (Yes, really.) In India, a monk has to have a passport? (Yes.) (Has to have everything now, yes.) Have to have a house? (Yes.) I am a Hindu monk also. Yeah! (OK.) I am from the Giri tradition. Forty, thirty years ago. (OK. That’s very good, Master.) I am a Hindu monk also. I am also a Tibetan monk, also a Chinese monk. What a monk! That’s why I cannot wear any monk’s robe because I am all mixed. Are you OK? Do you need anything else? Chamomile tea? No? Is the chamomile tea ready? (Master, we can’t find the chamomile tea now.) Is it available outside? (A guard just went out looking for it. He hasn’t come back yet.) They say they’re short of chamomile, so I told them to go out and buy some outside… (We only have osmanthus tea. Master, is osmanthus tea OK?) It’s not the same. (It’s not the same?) You eat some more? You want some more food? Here, that’s all I have. Rice? Three. Looks like you could eat some more. Today, the food is very little. I don’t know why. Thank you. Vegan American cheese! Catch! For sale. What’s this? (This is water.) What’s this? (This is warm water. This is [non-alcoholic] cocktail, blueberry cocktail, which is Sprite with blueberry.) You guys don’t have? No? Don’t have? Too bad. Not bad. But I don’t know how you drink. Come. Help yourself. You want some more of this? No? Oh, this is (vegan) curry, right? Did you have (vegan) curry? Is that (vegan) curry? Curry. (Can I give it to the monks to share?) Why? Did they want it? OK, sure! I didn’t know they want it. I didn’t know you want it. I only give it to them, kids in our family. I don’t dare give it to other people. There is more, if you want it. Yeah, monks. I said, I only give to my family kids. Outside, I don’t dare. But they want it, so I say, “OK, take it.” Like not respectful. At-home kids, I don’t care. I throw anything, they eat. Especially she always sits next to me. And anything she likes, anything. She never says, “No, Master. I don’t like that.” Or “No, I am too full.” No matter what, always! They always laugh at her. I say, “Well, she likes it. Why don’t you guys do the same?” Yeah. Envy for nothing. What’s this? (Eggplant.) Thank you. It’s delicious! Wow! (Sweet and sour vegan pork ribs.) Delicious. Thank you. Do you want it? You want? (Thank You, Master.) Wow! That’s a lot. Thank you. OK? The monks are like these kids, even ask for my things. I don’t dare to give them, because I’ve taken a bite. It’s OK for my kids; at home they eat whatever I throw at them. Wow! What is that? ([Vegan] Apple pie.) (Vegan) Apple pie! Wow! Are you here? Come. Wow! Oh, wow, wow, wow! Here. For you. My hand is clean. (Thank You, Master.) She’s come back already. It’s for you only. This is not bad. You guys want this? (This is gelidium jelly.) Oh, thank you. No, I think you have enough. This is for the kitchen. (For the kitchen.) For the kitchen. (OK. Thank You.)

God is Nature, Knowing God is Happiness: Excerpts from the Writings of Hryhorii Skovoroda (vegetarian), Part 1 of 2

Hryhorii Skovoroda was an 18th century philosopher, poet, and composer of religious music. A number of his writings can be found in his songs, several of which have been adapted to Ukrainian folk music. Skovoroda’s work contributed to the culture of both Russia and Ukraine. He has been called “Socrates,” both as a moralist and one whose Socratic style is intended to stimulate thought and self-intr

Parents Are the Best Gift on This Planet, Part 2 of 5

Never mind. I survive. You know what Heaven told me a few days ago? Higher Heaven told me. Not like when I was sad or anything, just normal time and then They just told me, “Try to survive.” It sounds scary. “Try to survive.” “Live long for others.” The two sentences They told me four, five days ago. What’s that? (Water first. Someone will bring the chamomile tea which is still being prepared and will be brought here later.) Where’s the monk? Why didn’t the monk come in here to eat? Where’s the monk? The monk physician. (Master, she’s coming in a moment. The monk will come later. She’s coming.) OK. (The monk went to take some medicine. She will be back soon.) OK. Have you arranged a car for her? Otherwise, it will be too slow if she has to run. You know, but to be president is a terrible position. (Yours too.) I am free. I can say what I want. (Yes, but Your position too is not so easy.) I know. (I wouldn’t like to be You...) I know, I know. (...in Your shoes.) I know, but different, not political pressure. Thanks a lot. She went to get your medicine; later she’ll give it to you. The Chinese people, they have a secret tradition to know which point in your body will release your pain. Therefore sometimes, no need for much medicine. (Yes.) And now, the Westerners start to learn also from the Chinese: pressure puncture, acupuncture. Yes. Have to wash hands. You might as well stay here and act as a doctor. Why go home? Wash hands. (Then, I’ll bring my cat here.) Your cat? Let’s talk about it later. Here we have dogs, so I’m afraid that he… (I have been working in the Hsihu medical team not long after I received initiation.) I know. Can’t you leave the cat at home for your elder sister to take care of? (OK.) Yes. I can give her money if needed. Does she have enough? (God always gives her enough.) Good. Then just come here and earn more merits. It’s all the same, eating and sleeping, if you stay at home. And here it’s also the same, eating and sleeping. Good. I’ll arrange a place for you to stay. (I’ve thought about staying here today.) Huh? (I did think of staying here today.) Good. OK. But what about your clothes and other stuff? (I’ve brought them with me.) Have you brought enough? Enough for a couple of days? (It’s OK. I have a car. I’ll go home when there’s nothing here to do.) You can ask someone to buy it for you. When you stay here, just tell them whatever you’d like to have. I’ll pay for it. Go wash your hands and eat. You must be starving. It really worked immediately? I tell you. If you stay here, you can get healthy quicker. Time to eat. Two is enough, or just one. Have you all eaten, everybody? Cameramen also? OK. Hey, you big guy, you can eat the double portion. Take it over to you. The Indian, also double. I didn’t know you could be so capable. (No, it’s really the healing energy field that worked. It’s all done by God.) Yes, it’s good to think like that. (When I act as an instrument, I don’t use my mind at all. It all comes from my intuition. When I was in Mongolia and Korea, I didn’t understand their language at all. But it’s the healing energy field…) Can be like that. (that was healing.) Yes, it can. (I’m just an instrument.) Yes, it can be like that. It’s better like that. (Yes.) It’d be troublesome if you think you’re doing it. (Yes.) You’d create karma. (Yes, yes.) OK. Then you just stay. (OK.) Send your cat to someone else to take care. For the sake of all beings, why are you still attached to a cat? (OK. I’ll talk to my elder sister. OK. Thank You, Master.) You’re welcome. I’m just afraid that you don’t want to stay. If you stay, you can just tell them whatever you need without having to pay for anything. No need for you to pay. Long-term residents… (Master, I still have some money.) I know. (When I am in need of money, I’ll let You know. Thank You, Master.) OK. That’s what Long-term residents do. Working staff takes care of them. The first time I can eat my food alone. Normally, everybody takes. Today I don’t give anything. You eat yours; I eat mine. Mine. Today I learn to be selfish. Otherwise, I will be too weak. We should stay here every day; every Sunday they have good food. At home we don’t have such good food. Not fair. We work a lot and we don’t have good food. Just come here on holiday and then have good food. (It is a long time, Master, You didn’t eat. One day You have not eaten.) First meal. (First meal after one day?) First and last. (Oh, it’s a lot.) Enough. (It’s a lot.) Enough. You see the way I talk? (Yes.) I’m not tired because of no food. I’m tired because of stress, work, mental stress. And when you practice meditation a lot, your body and your cells are not like normal day-to-day cells. And then any stress makes more trouble. Me, for me. Sensitive! You are dreaming. I dream the same all these years. I wish I had. What happened? You need something more? More fruit? (No, it’s OK.) Sometimes you have people help you, but they also bring more problems. And it’s too close to escape. You have to be in a very intimate relationship in order to really help, like a husband and wife or something, or real sister and brother, or sisters. Very difficult to find. And I am kind of a lone type of person. My fault. It’s my fault. (I always do wish to do something for You.) Thank you. (And at this time, but the maya takes me down so much.) No need. Thank you. (I will try very, very hard so I imagine that maybe I can, but…) Never mind. I survive. You know what Heaven told me a few days ago? Higher Heaven told me. Not like when I was sad or anything, just normal time and then They just told me, “Try to survive.” It sounds scary. “Try to survive.” “Live long for others.” The two sentences They told me four, five days ago. It sounds scary. “Try to survive.” My God! What talk is that? It’s not like comforting, saying, “OK, don’t worry. You will live and we’ll help You,” no, “Try to survive!” (It’s too difficult for me to understand Heaven’s plan, why they do not quickly send more helpers to You.) Thank you, thank you. Really thank you. Very kind of you. You cannot just have everything. How did you make her come back to life so quickly? Huh? (It’s God’s Power.) Oh. You also have to know where to press, otherwise, it’ll be very painful if you pressed the wrong place. Pressure. (I told a sister this morning that we’re enjoying a happy time now.) Did you learn? (I’ll give her the acupuncture treatment in the evening after finishing all these.) OK. (Thanks to Master’s grace.) You’re welcome. She will give you acupuncture later on. (OK.) She’ll let you enjoy a little bit now, and later, more work. She is good, huh? (Very good.) It’s OK? Today is so-so, not extraordinary like the other day. It’s their fault. Not your good food karma. Normally we eat very well. Taipei cooks good. Kaohsiung, good. I don’t know others. Normally I don’t ask. At home do they cook anything? (Yes, Master.) Thank you for the (vegan) lasagna. Very good! You can cook so many things. No wonder she likes you. For the food! His ex-wife liked him, wanted to take him home, back home. He didn’t go, I don’t know why. You’re not Indian, that’s why. Indians, they don’t divorce. You two knew each other or arranged by parents? (Arranged by parents.) Same, same everywhere. (Twenty-eight. Twenty-eight years ago.) And it’s still good, it looks like. I think their system’s not bad. Because when you’re in love with somebody, you’re blind. You don’t see other people’s faults and you don’t try to accommodate. And later you’re disappointed. But if parents arrange and you accepted already, what to do? (It was instilled in us that you like it or don’t like it, you have to stay together. If they became yours, you have to love him for the rest of your life.) Too bad, they’re just done. So, like this they don’t think too much; go or not, or stay. It’s more settled. Finished. And that’s why in India, they have happy marriages, a lot. Very little divorce. Nowadays maybe, but… I thought nowadays you didn’t arrange marriages anymore. Still do? But they check, they check everything – the compatibility, family background, (Family backgrounds, yes.) education, what you like, what you don’t like, both the same or not. Difficult, but they find it. Twenty years, still happy! (Twenty-eight years.) Look happy. So they’ve done a good job. Done a good job to find a good husband and wife for you. What are you doing in India that you’re gone so long? Business OK? (Jewelry business.) Jewelry. My design. (They look good.) Real stone? (Yes.) Good. We got some from India also – stones. I forget which ones. (Master, I really love Your ring. It’s beautiful.) What is beautiful? (The ring that You wear. And I just wanted to ask You when are You going to come back to America? I have another Center in Los Angeles. Because the Center that we have is so… too far. We have to drive three, four hours to get there. Please come back there. And we need You in America. We need You here too.) I love America. (They love You too.) I’m just too tired now. If I go there, I have to either marry or do something in order to stay. I’m not American. (You are!) Love All Living Creatures as Yourself: From Food – Way of Life in “The Law of Nutrition” by Master Beinsa Douno (vegetarian), Part 2 of 2

Let us now continue to read a selection from Master Beinsa Douno’s book “The Law of Nutrition,” from the chapter “Food – Way of Life.” “Now we have abandoned that true life and take away a life, which is not God’s will: we take an animal, without it being willing, and take away its life. We don’t ask it for its consent. It wants to live, but we eat it. This is not a way to live. The great m

Parents Are the Best Gift on This Planet, Part 1 of 5

Parents are the best gift on this planet. Even my parents were not biological, but when they came to see me in Hong Kong for maybe some weeks, oh I felt like a child again. I felt so happy, happy. I felt like I could be irresponsible because I’m a kid. I felt that light, that free.(I love You, Master.) I go to the kitchen. Hallo! Love you guys. (I love You, Master. Hallo, Master.) Go eat. My kitchen is small. If there is room, those from China or Âu Lạc (Vietnam) who just got initiated can come in. If there is no room, they need to go to another place to have their meal. If I don’t take it, he will feel sad. If I take it, he won’t let me pay for it. I can’t do that. Is it here? OK, very good, very good. Go eat, otherwise, the buses will have to wait too long. Hallo. Is there food inside? (Yes.) I didn’t say I would come. Do you prepare food every Sunday? (Yes.) Do you prepare whether I come or not? (Yes.) (We prepared food for 150 people.) OK. Food for 150 people. We have 172, cannot (feed) all of them. All the foreigners can go inside quickly. And the new initiates can come in and eat. Those from China and Âu Lạc (Vietnam). Those from Taiwan (Formosa), no. (Let’s cheer for ourselves.) You have been eating for several decades. And you still want to eat? OK. (Love You.) Only those who just got initiated. You need to screen well. OK? Can’t let everyone in. There is not enough room. I am sorry. Only new initiates. New initiates and foreign initiates. OK? Check clearly if they are new initiates. OK? The Supreme Master TV (team), you can come here and leave a place for people. We don’t have enough places. We don’t have enough room, so the Supreme Master TV (team) come around here. We don’t have enough room, so other places are for other people. You’re OK there? You want to sit with us? (I’m not hungry.) What do you want to eat then? (Nothing.) Nothing? You’re breatharian? You cannot eat today? (Now I don’t feel well.) Go get a doctor quickly. (No, it’s OK.) No, we have this natural medicine. It helps you recover also, not just stop the pain. You take some, half an hour later you’ll feel hungry, you can eat. Is there someone here? A doctor, OK? (OK. I will go find a doctor.) Natural medicine for her. (OK.) You tell him what kind of problem you have first. What? You have pain or… (I can talk to You.) Come here, tell me. You don’t sit too near the monks. It’s right in front of them, no good for them. We make offerings to the Buddha, Dharma and Sangha. Wish everyone and all beings have enough food, whatever they need. Thank You. Amen. Amitabha Buddha. Eat, please. No more people? We have room here. I thought we didn’t have enough space, but there are not many people here. Why don’t you let them in? Where are the new initiates from China? Let the new initiates from Âu Lạc (Vietnam) come in. Quick. Help yourself. Enjoy. You see, not only your child, they are all like children, babies. When they talk to me, they’re like babies. I have to take care of everything. I told them this morning, “Grow up. Please grow up. I don’t have time to take care of babies.” All that, written already. Still wait for me. Wait for Mama. I have to say, “Oh, please! Go. See your parents!” I have to talk to her, in order for them to see you over there already. And this I’ve written already, very clearly. No? (Initially in the morning, she said, “I am going with you”) Oh. (but while coming she said,) Oh. (“I don’t know if I am allowed or not.”) Oh. Bad Master! Oh! (No, no. She said, “There’s nobody in the office. Maybe I have to share. I did not get any… I mean I am not sure I can leave and go.”) Why not? But I already arranged for you to go. (Oh. But…) Never mind. (Thank You, Master.) It’s better than too abruptly casual; it’s still better. You brought her up well, too well. Too well, now I have to re-educate her that here we’re free. You are over… (You love her so much, Master. She’s all for You. She said, “I don’t want to come back, mama. I am so happy there.”) OK. I don’t know why she’s so happy. Are you guys happy? (Yes.) Why? I don’t often see them a lot, just sometimes. Sometimes, some special thing, then I share with them to eat, that’s all. Mostly we don’t talk a lot. We’re busy. It’s good. Too bad that she cannot see you here. You just stay here, I’ll send for her. I will have to work again, “Now please come see your parents; they don’t have a lot of chance to see you.” Children, they don’t understand. They think you live forever and you can see them all the time, anytime you want or anytime they want. You’re always there anyway, so what’s the hurry? They never know life is not certain. Parents are the best gift on this planet. Even my parents were not biological, but when they came to see me in Hong Kong for maybe some weeks, oh I felt like a child again. I felt so happy, happy. I felt like I could be irresponsible because I’m a kid. I felt that light, that free. But I could not always see them; the situation is different. In India you can always see, so you take it for granted. Enjoy your meal! Anyone else, cameramen or something, go eat. Hufa (Guards) take turns; go eat, please. (OK.) Any more new initiates who did not come? Security guards, go take a look, OK? When you come here on Sundays, if I am not here, do you eat over there? (Yes, Master, yes.) Wow. You are so lucky. I don’t have such delicious food at home, not even on Sundays. Is it good? (Very good.) You’re hungry, anything is good. I thought she’d gone with the parents, so I didn’t tell you to take her. (Yes.) I said, “OK, then that’s one car, enough for you because going with the parents already.” They’d told me, “Gone already.” When I asked, they said, gone already. It’s good. It’s OK. She is just still a kid. You spoil her so much, that’s why. Only young kids stay at home. If she didn’t come here, probably she’d stay with you until 40, 50, 70, I don’t know. That kind of kid, so very attached to the parents. Give her more fruit. You can give her more fruits. Are you feeling a little better? You eat what you want. If anything else, you ask. Water, water. She cannot drink this kind. Do we have chamomile tea? Make a cup of chamomile tea for her. I told them to make you chamomile tea. It will help. They are coming. I don’t know why nobody asked me to be the president of any country. I can do many things. I really take care of people. I just realized I can be president. (But the problem is the actual president wants only the power. They don’t want to help the people. So, the mentality has to change before we change the president.) I know. Very difficult for a president to help also, because of political struggling. Some presidents are very good but have to go through congress and parliament and local government, etc. Very difficult.

Seven Questions From Alexander the Great, Part 8 of 8

The Muslims, they pray five times a day. (Yes, Master.) But they don’t know the tradition. Five times is for the person who works all day and night, also, and has family and all that. So, five times is to make up for two and a half hours.Last time I told you the story, only half the story, I forgot. There was a man who met the fairy and stayed with her. Remember? (Yes, Master.) In the fairy palace and all that? And then when she left for some conference, she told him not to open that door? (Yes, Master.) I forgot to tell you the end. It’s not a happy ending. He opened that door anyway. You know men, they do what they’re told not to. Some men do that. Many men do that. It is good for the ego. “I am a man; I don’t listen to anybody. I don’t listen to women, especially.” Maybe that’s why my mission is difficult because I’m not a man. I’m a woman. Never mind. It has to be like that. It’s arranged like that. So, he opened that door, and he saw the world, the world down there – us, our world. And then he missed his home, he’s homesick, missed his parents, the friends and whatnot, whoever not. So, he went home. Of course, he left a note, like all the men. “Sorry! I didn’t want to, but I must.” Like that. Then he left. He went home. When he went back to his hometown, nobody recognized him; nobody knew anything about him at all because hundreds of years had passed already. (Oh.) Heaven’s time compared to our time is very quick. (Yes, Master.) The story of the man who asked God for one million dollars. Hes said, “Wait a second.” (Yes.) Because a second in Heaven is some couple of hundred years (Yes.) or more. So he went back and then he kept looking for his home. His home was no more. His friends no more, his parents no more, his siblings no more. Nobody. No one in his hometown or his village, even the neighbors, knew anything about him. He kept going around, around, then he encountered some of the very old, old, old, old men. Old, old. And he talked about his situation, dilemma. He (an old man) said, “Oh, I heard something from my great-great-great-grandfather coming down to my great-great-grandfather and then my great-grandfather and my grandfather and my father, and then they told me that long, long ago, there was such and such person, named so and so, but he disappeared some hundred years ago and it was just like a legend to us, like a story for kids. Like a legend, a story, a folklore, but we never believed it existed anyway.” So that’s what happened to the guy who was too nosy. He was happy, happy all the time with her until he opened that door when she was not home. She should have never left. She should have known men. They cannot be alone for a second. They say they want to be alone, but… Yeah! If you put a case of non-alcoholic beer, a television and a remote control, then he can be alone for a long, long time. That was another joke. It’s not my joke, so don’t be angry with me. Any other questions, my love? (No.) No? (No more, Master. No questions, Master.) No more? Good. Then we can go, and you think about it next time if we have a chance to talk again. And if you have any other questions, we can always discuss. (Thank You, Master!) You’re all all right, in any way? In your situation. You’re all good? (Yes, Master. Thank You.) OK. Two o’clock, man. It’s the real time, 2:01. It’s good. Then you go try to catch up with your sleep. Try to meditate before you sleep, always. (OK. Yes, Master.) As much as you can until you cannot anymore, and then you drop. Then during the night is a continuation of meditation. That’s how we make time because we don’t have a lot of time. (Yes, Master.) I appreciate that you work day and night, sometimes. You work day and night. And you meditate three times a day. Be happy I don’t ask you to meditate five times. The Muslims, they pray five times a day. (Yes, Master.) But they don’t know the tradition. Five times is for the person who works all day and night, also, and has family and all that. So, five times is to make up for two and a half hours. (Yes.) (Oh!) Each time, prayer for about half an hour… or meditating. They call it prayer because nowadays they don’t remember that it’s a meditation. Five times, half an hour – that is two and half hours. No? (Yes.) So I also told my disciples they can divide it. If they don’t have time to do it two and a half hours straight, at one straight time, then they could do it here and there half an hour, or even a few minutes here and there, 20 minutes, 10 minutes, to make up for the time lost. (Yes, Master.) All right then. If no more questions, then I go back to the other place. Because this place is just like a storeroom, I store things. But of course, there’s a computer, (Yes.) and there is also internet. So I can talk to you if the other phone did not work. There’s even a phone, you saw? (Yes.) And if I want to talk to you by mobile, I have to go outside, a little bit further where there’s some clearance, because the forest, sometimes it doesn’t pick up the signal very well, the mountains. (Yes.) But it’s good. My God! I feel better than the king in the old times. (Yes, that’s right.) In the old times… Even some kings nowadays in some African countries, there are some tribal kings – they call them also princes, kings, or leaders – if they want to go to contact the world, they have to walk far distances, long distances to go to some places where they can find the access for internet. (Yes, Master.) And they’re real kings and princes, but they did not have the facility in their area. They are kings. Kings. Because in the old times, kings were like that also. In some small areas, a few hundred thousand people or even just some tens of thousands of people, and their environment is a few square kilometers, and they are also kings. (Yes.) The Vatican is 0.5 kilometer square, right? More or less. No? (More or less.) And Monaco, how wide is Monaco? Check it out right now, tell me. How big is Monaco? Also, maybe about three kilometers square or something? No? (Maybe.) How much? (It’s only two square kilometers.) Two square kilometers, more or less. Only? Really? (Yes, 1.95 square kilometers or 0.5 square mile.) Zero-point-five square mile only! Really? You mean the whole Monaco? (Monaco, yes.) Wow! Oh, yeah. I forgot. I was there. Sometimes when I was in France, I was there. When I felt not well, I would go there – the sea, the breeze. I was coughing a lot and was having trouble. But when I went there with the sea, a small hotel, a seaside hotel, I felt better after a couple of weeks and drank a lot, a lot of juice at the bar downstairs. I became such a regular that they made a drink after my name. Really! They told me this, and this is the name of the non-alcoholic cocktail, new one. They’re very nice, all the hotel people there, very nice people, very nice staff. They’d really do anything for you, anytime. They’re very friendly, very genuine. I like them so much. We had a lot of fun. I always made jokes with them. They really loved me. Is that it, right? (Yes, Master.) What was it? Why did I talk about Monaco? Ah, yeah, yeah. Even nowadays, some kingdoms are small. (Yes.) And like Prince Albert, he is still the king there. (Yes.) Of course, they call him Prince Albert, but he’s the de facto king of that country. And also, there’s another kingdom country… I forgot. Tell me. (Liechtenstein.) No. The one that’s in the middle of Italy. (San Marino.) San Marino. Then also there’s another one. Liechtenstein? (Yes, yes.) Is that also small? (Yes.) (Yes, very small.) How big is it? And how big is the Vatican? One search the… Another, not together the same thing. The first one search for Vatican, the other search for Liechtenstein, and the other one search for San Marino – one, two, three. Or the girls also do it. Tell me. (The Vatican is one kilometer long and 0.85 kilometer wide.) So almost like two kilometers square, right? (0.5 kilometer square.) 0.5 kilometer square only. And it’s also like a kingdom. It’s a different kind of kingdom, but they have guards and all that. They have a government inside working all kinds of things. And how about Liechtenstein and San Marino? It’s a kingdom or just a country? (Liechtenstein says it’s 160 kilometers square.) Oh, that’s big, that’s big. (So that seems big.) That’s big. But San Marino? (San Marino is 24 square miles.) Oh, that’s big. Fine. All right. So, we don’t include them. Twenty square miles. Huh? (Twenty-four. Yes.) They’re also not too big either, but nowadays it’s like that. In the old times, most kingdoms are small-small like that. And then later, maybe they united together, like China or Mongolia. They became united. Different tribes, different small countries became one. Like the United States nowadays. So, the governors of your country, they are truly small kings. In the old times, it’s like that. There were small countries for small kings and with one big king, they called him emperor, and the other ones are kings. The other small-small areas, (Yes, Master.) that make up that kingdom, they call them kings also. “Wáng” (the kings). And the other one... “Huángdì.” It means the emperor. Emperor and kings. We are talking so much. All right. Thank you for your attendance. (Thank You, Master.) We made it after all. We made it. Anyway... (Yes. Thank You, Master.) So, ciao. Good night. (Good night, Master.) God bless. (Good night, Master.) Peace for you. (Thank You, Master.)

Prophecy of the Golden Age Part 138 - The Return of the King

“The All Penetrating One called CHING’s arrival on earth will coincide with the revealing of the secret of the Golden Melody, I ask you to look for Him/Her.”Records indicate that in His later years, the Great King of the Mongols, Genghis Khan, sought the elixir of immortality (enlightenment). He even invited the Chinese Taoist Master Changchun (Qiu Chuji) to visit Him and share his spiritual guidance. Evidence that Genghis Khan was familiar with spiritual practice can be found in an extremely precious text that was published for the first time only recently in 2003. Titled “The Secret of the Golden Melody,” this special book is a collection of instructions from Genghis Khan that are addressed to the future generations of His people. Prophetic in nature and poetically expressed, these words of the Great Khan Himself were preserved and passed down for over 15 generations by the Blue Dogs clan, according to His order. But what is “The Secret of the Golden Melody” and why was it so important to Genghis Khan that we should know about it today? The following stanza, which we have translated into the more understandable modern Mongolian language, states that the “Golden Melody” is a spiritual practice, a way “to rejoin with the Highest Power of the Eternal Blue Sky.” In Mongolia’s traditional culture, “Eternal Blue Sky” means Heaven. “If you want to rejoin with the Highest Power of the Eternal Blue Sky, PRACTICE THE GOLDEN MELODY that has been passed from your noble lineages. Many will emerge on this path. Please be reminded, my children, THE GOLDEN MELODY AND LIGHT are the highest.” Wow! Genghis Khan truly did know the highest Method of communion with the Divine Power: The path of “the Golden Melody and Light,” or the Inner Heavenly Sound and Light! He also knew that this Method has been secretly passed down in human history through the noble lineage of Saints – the enlightened Masters. As Supreme Master Ching Hai has explained: “The Quan Yin Method is ancient, as old as the universe itself, and it has been PASSED DOWN FROM TIME IMMEMORIAL. It shows a direct link to our Self and Great Nature or God or Buddha Nature, which is LIGHT OR MELODIOUS VIBRATION, glory, peace, love, blissfulness. And if we practice this so-called Quan Yin Method – means the practice of contemplating on our real inner Self, which is the melodious, glorious vibration – then we can find out that we are truly from God.” “God manifests in two ways: LIGHT; OR THE VIBRATION, THE SOUND, which we will hear SIMILAR TO MUSIC, but it will soothe our being, it will raise us to Heaven; leave this physical body for a while and contact a higher dimension. Then we can learn more wisdom, assimilate more of a higher dimension atmosphere. So when we come back to this world, we change. We become more intelligent, more loving, more understanding; we become more Heaven-like.” “The HEAVENLY MUSIC spoken of in many holy scriptures of different religions, such as the ‘Word’ in Christianity, the ‘Shabd’ in Hinduism, the ‘Heavenly Music’ in the Taoism, the ‘Sound Stream’ in Buddhism and so on, is the only true teaching directly from the Kingdom of God, as well as the language of universal love and supreme intelligence.” “Quan Yin means to make contact with our inner Sound. This silent music which plays without instruments and which is direct guidance from God. This Divine Light and Divine Music come immediately during initiation.”“Please be reminded, my children, the Golden Melody and Light are the highest.”“The Light and Sound Method is the highway of spiritual practice. It’s the top. It erases sins. It elevates criminals’ minds even. If they sincerely repent, they will be elevated, and liberated.” “Of course, in this universe, there are many different ways to do things. There are faster methods and slower methods. Some methods are superior, and the Quan Yin Method is superior. It works very fast. Karma from so many past lives are burned instantly. Success is a sure thing. It’s impossible for us not to succeed. It’s impossible for a Quan Yin Method practitioner not to become a Buddha. That’s impossible.”“The Immortal Light will only be obtained through meditation, not by any other means. It is not for worldly benefits but for salvation from your sins and wrongdoings.” “Only the Light of God will cleanse us of all sins. In baptism, you’re supposed to see Light that descends from Heaven, like a white dove, for example. We have seen that in meditation. So actually, when we are initiated, at that moment, we are fully enlightened, and all our sins will be gone.” Genghis Khan even predicted that many people would practice this secret path of the Immortal Light and Golden Melody. Today, there are countless practitioners thanks to the gift of initiation as so openly and compassionately bestowed by Supreme Master Ching Hai. We are also very happy that so many of Genghis Khan’s own people in Mongolia are also practicing the Golden Melody, as He had urged them to do. “(We have a very big ground, but a very small population. But we now have almost 2,000 initiates.) Oh, wow!” “(Recently we had an initiation ceremony in Mongolia. So over 200 new initiates got initiation.) Wow. (Over 200.) Bravo. (Also, many initiate candidates are waiting to get initiation.) Oh beautiful, beautiful. (Still many are waiting.)” “Good news. Good news. (Yes.) Tell them I welcome them to our family. We welcome to our family. (Okay, we will kindly forward that message to them.) Very good, Mongolia. My God, such a good place.)”But this is not all. Amazingly, Genghis Khan even told us exactly whom to look for in order to find the secret of the Golden Melody! “The All Penetrating One called CHING’s arrival on earth will coincide with the revealing of the secret of the Golden Melody, I ask you to look for Him/Her.” Wow!!! “The All Penetrating One called CHING” sounds like the name of Supreme Master CHING HAI! And yes, Supreme Master Ching Hai’s arrival on earth has really coincided “with the revealing of the secret of the Golden Melody” on a scale never before seen! “Yes, that’s what I am going to show you. That’s the silent (inner Heavenly) Sound, the teaching of God. That’s the ‘Word’ in the Bible, ‘the music of the stars.’ They call it different names. You can hear it right away. That’s why we call this Method ‘immediate enlightenment.’ We help you to open your Heavenly ears; then you can hear the stars.” Notably, the Westernized “Genghis Khan” is actually “Chinggis Khaan” in Mongolian, and it means “Universal Ruler.” Coincidentally, “Chinggis” in Mongolian also means “Ocean.” In the present day, Supreme Master Ching Hai’s name again means “Ocean,” as “Ching Hai” in Chinese means “Pure Ocean”! (“Ching Hai” also sounds similar to “Chinggis.”) “That One [called Ching] will tell you the path of ultimate enlightenment; Will also reveal to you the secret of not slipping into darkness from enlightenment; Will also reveal to you dangers that you might face on the path of Truth.” “The universe is not always benign. Look at the world around us, just a small planet and so many tricks, so many traps, so many dangers around already. If you go into the spiritual field, there will be also danger there if you don't have a Guide to protect you and to tell you how.” “So I will teach you at the time of initiation how to protect yourself.” The stanza also mentioned that the Inner Heavenly Sound and Light is the only way that humans can get out of their lowly state of existence.“[That One called Ching] will lead you to the Golden Melody and Light; Will tell you the knowledge behind true enlightenment; Will tell you how humans may get out of the worst state they have reached; It will only be achieved with the Golden Melody and Light.” “The more we meditate, the more we know, through the meditation, the knowledge of the Divine and all the more exquisite, secret knowledge that’s revealed to us through the (inner Heavenly) Light and Sound meditation – the more we know about it, the more we want to meditate. Yes, we must. We must, anyhow, even without knowing all that knowledge of the Divine. We must recharge with our meditation, with the higher vibration of the (inner Heavenly) Light and Sound, because the (inner Heavenly) Light and Sound is God, and we are a part of God: we are God. Without the (inner Heavenly) Light and Sound, we are almost like we are no God, we are nobody and we will be very, very suffering of different kinds and more, more blindly suffocated in this negative atmosphere.” “We have so much suffering in this world, and we have a lot of unsuccessful adventures, and we blame maybe God sometimes for not blessing us. But, actually, we should blame ourselves for not making use of the power that God has given us since time immemorial. Because of not using this power, we are still here. Because of not using this power, we are suffering, or we see the suffering around us. Because of not using this power, we have wars with one another. Only when we use this power, then we truly have everlasting peace.”How compassionate was Genghis Khan, to have revealed to us the key to salvation for us future generations, having probably foreseen that our world would be in even deeper trouble without it! He said that Master “Will lead you to the Golden Melody and Light,” and indeed She most graciously has. “(Upon meditating on the [inner Heavenly] Light, I felt that my body was so hot as though there were thousands of sun rays shining inside my body. Upon meditating on the Sound, I heard the sound of ocean waves and the sound of thunder roaring during a storm.)” “(During initiation, I seemed to see [inner Heavenly] Lights of different colors flashing by. I also heard deep [inner Heavenly] Sounds of a big chorus and bells.)” “(I hear [inner Heavenly] Sound 24/7, whether I'm doing Quan Yin [inner Heavenly Sound meditation] or Quan Quang [inner Heavenly Light meditation]. And I see beautiful Light.) That’s good. (And it improves, too.)” “(Every time I meditate, I sometimes see white [inner Heavenly] Light, bright sunlight…)” “(I went to a realm, which had the [inner Heavenly] piano Sound, and then the [inner Heavenly] Sound of a lyre, which was beautiful. I felt very peaceful, very happy. I was so happy, Master.)” “(Then I suddenly recalled: ‘This is the [inner Heavenly] Sound of the flute that Master mentioned.’ As I listened to the music, wow! My whole body was pacified My whole body was pacified and very comfortable.)” Etc…

Seven Questions From Alexander the Great, Part 7 of 8

So once we’re here, we help them to get out of the illusion. (Yes, Master.) That’s the best, that’s the only, that’s the highest freedom ever. Otherwise, as long as you’re here, even if you help them with money, you help them with housing, you help them with clothing, anything you give them, all the material comfort, they’re still in illusion. Even, I told you the story about the Buddha a long time ago when He was the king of the Heaven, (Yes.) I mean, a lower Heaven. (Yes, Master.) He had to also fight with the astral. Remember? (Yes, Master.) And then He seemed to be losing the battle. (Yes.) But then He ran back. He retreated and they reported to Him that, “Before us, there are a hoard of some animals, and if we run through, we will kill them all by stampede.” So, He immediately U-turned, even though that meant facing death. (Yes.) I don’t know if they would die in the Astral world actually, or whatever, or be captured. Because He lost already, but He U-turned because of His compassion. He U-turned; He did not want to kill these beings by accident, by stampeding with the horses and all that, and the big, huge army of people, His people. (Yes.) So, He U-turned and then He won! Because suddenly the astral were thinking, “Ah, there must be something because He’s coming back so strongly like that, so determinedly like that. So we better run.” They couldn’t guess, they couldn’t guess. Because they didn’t have what He had – love, compassion for others, not winning at all costs. So that’s the story when He was the king of Heaven, some Heavens, the lower Heavens. So, you never know, this world is… The whole thing in this world is actually illusion. That has never escaped my mind. Even when I’m working for Supreme Master Television or doing things, it’s always there. It’s always I know that it’s all illusion. But the people, the beings here suffer so much, and they don’t know it’s an illusion, and they suffer all the same. And as long as we have this human body, we suffer anyway. Got that? (Yes, Master.) So once we’re here, we help them to get out of the illusion. (Yes, Master.) That’s the best, that’s the only, that’s the highest freedom ever. Otherwise, as long as you’re here, even if you help them with money, you help them with housing, you help them with clothing, anything you give them, all the material comfort, they’re still in illusion. (Yes, Master.) So the Buddha says, of all the charities, giving Dharma, giving the Truth teaching, the Truth, the true teaching, the liberating teaching, is the best gift. It’s the best charity. That’s why at that time, whoever wanted to become a monk, He let them immediately because the monks at that time can go out and spread His teaching. (Yes, Master.) Nowadays, we have television, we have internet. That’s also my monks. You are also my monks and my nuns because we are spreading the Truth. And that’s the best help for anyone because they’ll be liberated if they know the Truth. If they study the Truth, if they embrace the Truth, they will be liberated forever, out of this illusionary dream forever. (Yes, Master.) Because what’s the use if I give them a lot of money or houses, if I have, or anything that makes them comfortable? I give what I can of course, while they are still in prison. But the best for any prisoner is that they are free, right? (Yes.) So we give the prisoners what we can, at least a little comfort, physically. But we liberate them; we free them. That’s the best. So, the teaching of the Masters frees people’s souls forever. And that’s the best gift, the best charity ever. Do you understand now? (Yes, Master.) Because what’s the use if I just give them every day or every month? Oh. Are you still there? (Yes, Master.) I stepped on the phone. Oh. I don’t have a good chair so I just moved a little bit and I forgot the phone is under my feet. (Oh.) Because I have to drag it up near me so that I can be near the phone, and the camera (Yes.) and the computer, so I can see you – and myself, of course. Beautiful face! (Yes.) On my computer, I look perfect. But in the camera, it’s... the camera is too truthful. It never tells lies about my wrinkles and my gray hair, and whatever. Don’t think I did a lot with my hair or anything, I just zip it up with this, with the “crocodile.” (Yes.) Just that. Just one, the crocodile. Crocodile clip, that’s it. Nothing more! And it looks good, no? (Yes, Master.) (Yes, very good.) Looks like I went to the hair salon or something. (Yes.) I didn’t, I didn’t. I just clip it up and then it’s like that, looks good. Now, so what’s the good if I keep coming to the prison and give the prisoners all the things that they need, as long as the prison allows, in their little cells? They call it cell, right? (Yes.) So, how much can you have in a cell anyway? What more can you need in the prison? (Yes.) And even if I give them gold, can they spend it in there? Maybe. May make them more trouble because other inmates might want to steal it from them or maybe kill them for it. See that? (Yes.) So what’s the good if I keep going into a prison every day, giving them all the best luxuries in the world, but I could never take them out of prison? (Yes.) They will continue to stay in prison forever. (Right.) Enjoying more new potatoes or whatever I bring, but that’s it, just stay in the cell forever. (Yes, Master.) Similarly, the best is that I give them the Truth. And they be awakened, they come for initiation, and they will awaken themselves. That’s the best. And then they will be liberated forever. That’s the best thing. That’s why the Buddha said, “Donate the true Teaching, the Dharma, it’s the best donation. It’s the best charity.” (Yes, Master.) It’s all illusion, it’s all illusion. But we still play the game. (Yes.) We play it, just like that. I play along. Like if you go to kindergarten, you don’t tell them Einstein stuff, no? You will be on your knees, and playing with their toys, (Yes.) and telling them simple songs and simple stories. (Yes.) You cannot do much more than that. They would not understand. They would not be able to understand anything and they will feel very bored. They will think you are a very boring person, don’t know how to play with these toys, the trains, the dolls, and the puppy dogs and stuff like that. (Yes.) Toys, toy puppies. “You are very boring.” One kid, she told me I’m very boring. A long time ago, when she was a kid, she wanted to go to Disneyland. She wanted to go to cinemas. She wanted to go swim with the dolphins. She wanted to do this and that and the other. (Yes.) And I don’t do such (things). So, she said, I’m very, very boring. She told me to my face. And meanwhile, I like to lay in front of the... that was in Japan. She’s grown up now and graduated and all that… and wanted to go to Africa or something… to save sentient beings over there. All right. So, I was in Japan and we had a little cabin, wood cabin there. And then I laid down outside on the balcony. And then I made a fire outside on the balcony, a safe fire, of course, to warm, because it was very cold. It was kind of almost winter or something. And I lay there enjoying it so much, the tranquility of the surroundings in the middle of the forest with the stream running outside of my door, my balcony just next to it, down there. If I jumped down from the balcony, then I’d be in the river. (Wow.) So, that near, that near. And then I told her. “Oh, this is wonderful.” She said, “It’s so boring.” And there was another story. There’s a saint who happened to go, to hell or the half-hell area, or the astral area, where a group of people were playing cards together, playing cards to gain money and all that. And he said, “Oh, my God, it’s so dark in here.” They’re smoking and all that stuff in there. The air is bad. They stay there all day, all night, just munching sandwiches, and then playing cards all the time. He said, “Oh, I have a house in Heaven. It’s much better. It’s bright, it’s wonderful, good air and everything. You’d be free. Why stay here. Come with me?” They asked, “Can we play cards in Heaven?” And he said, “No, in Heaven, you don’t play cards. It’s a different dimension. People are different. They’re bright and they’re intelligent. They have other hobbies, they are creative. They don’t play cards. This is very low, kind of low level of game. They said, “Oh, then we don’t go there. We don’t want to. We want to play cards.” See what I’m saying? (Yes, Master.) So, it’s not like, OK, if you’re a Saint and you want to cure people of their bad habits or lead them into a brighter dimension, Heaven, it’s not like that. It’s not that easy. (Yes, Master.) People are addicted to whatever they’re used to in their life, and they don’t want to listen to anything else. They don’t want to do anything else. That’s why many people, they sell all their houses, and even sell their wives and kids to play cards, they cannot stop. (Yes.) Also, the ghosts around them push them to do more because they like it, that kind of ghost who likes gambling. And then they push the people who have such a tendency more and more down that road, and they will never be able to quit. Many things in the world – like war, famine, and bad things – I mean, bad things are created by these kinds of ghosts, demons, zealous demons and ghosts. They want to make trouble. I told you already. Yes? (Yes, Master.) So that people will fight with each other, and people will die, and then they will feast upon these dead corpses. That’s what they eat. So, they cannot help people to make peace. They must make war. (Yes, Master.) So, sometimes they tempt the leaders of the nations to make war with each other because of that. I know all that. If you are a very low level, it’s easy to be tempted by these kinds of demons. If you are a higher level, they cannot touch you. You are out of their range. Just like some telephone, it works there, but it doesn’t work here. Or it works here; it doesn’t work there when you go out of range. (Yes.) It’s like that. The world’s in trouble because many people are still in a very low level, very vulnerable and succumb to this kind of temptation and bad influence by these demons. They talk into their ears. You don’t hear it, but they can influence you by their talk and their power, dark power. If you’re higher, then you can resist. If you’re lower, they always can get you, one day or another. Even if you are a practitioner and you have some, maybe some bad tendency or some lower desire or something, and you allow yourself to follow it, then they also can get you. (Yes, Master.) That’s why some of the disciples left our group, left the Master, or left Supreme Master TV also. Because their level is too low. I’m trying very hard to help them, and if you keep doing Supreme Master TV, that will help you. But if you allow yourself to think of other mundane desires or comparing or thinking or trashing your colleagues or Master, then you’re in big, big, big, big, big trouble. I think these cannot be rescued anymore, these type of people. (Yes, Master.)

Bless Yourself with Meditation: Selections from “Coloring Our Lives” by Supreme Master Ching Hai (vegan), Part 2 of 2

“Don’t make meditation a kind of work; it’s just a relaxation time. Tell your mind it has nothing to do, and to just sit there relaxing. And if you cannot sit too long, you can lie down and rest. Make it pleasant.” “Make it pleasant at first. Don’t make it too hard for the mind, because he doesn’t like it. He doesn’t like working. And if you’re too serious, the mind will rebel, thinking, ‘I don’t
